The University of Florida has already acted on that conviction. In December 2025, our Board of Trustees adopted institutional neutrality and embedded an anti-DEI mandate within the presidential contract itself, ensuring that no university funds, public or private, will underwrite DEI at this institution. Black people can’t even celebrate graduating college without somebody questioning how they got there.

Why does Black academic success frustrate many White people? They've been socially conditioned to believe that we're less intelligent. Seeing thousands of Black people graduate is inconsistent with their prejudiced views. They're experiencing cognitive dissonance.
