We are absolutely outraged to hear from David Lidington today at PMQ's that the @Conservatives feel 16/17 year old aren't mature and responsible enough to vote. Since when did voting come down to these factors and if so there are many 18+ that wouldn't fit the criteria!

What are people's view on this? I think it's a great thing, raising standards and keeping pupils safe. Evidence shows eating unhealthy effects progress/behaviour. Most kids eat enough junk outside of school, don't need it during the day when they should concentrate on learning! twitter.com/MENnewsdesk/st…
