You're making a gamble on a chance at coming out the other end of this with a successful business that runs by itself and maybe even achieve some level of financial independence, freedom, whatever you want to call it. What this looks like in practise is: 1. You start out putting a lot of money into it. If your not rich, this means all your savings and also debt from friends and family. 2. You will go through a long period of losing money and then making very little and if your lucky making minimum wage. 3. At any point your most likely to go bankrupt and close shop. Most businesses fail and hospitality is a very rough industry to get into.. 4. If you get past all of this, the idea is now you end up with a business that runs by itself and a little it of money on top of it

But it does tho and its means either you are way too stupid to be making these claims or most likely you are just lying and pretending to not get it.. You have people looking to buy/rent and others looking to sell or rent out their property. By making it near impossible to evict or increase rent, you made the risks of renting out far outweigh the benefits for a lot of people. Now if you're couple looking for a bigger house with the baby coming, you are far more likely to sell your existing house than rent it out. If you are a smart young lad who works hard and wants to save.. you are far more likely to put money in the SP500 than get a derelict property and fix it up with your friends to rent it out (based on RL) If your mom just passed away and left the house over to you and your sister. You are far more likely to sell it and split the money between you two than renting it out.. The thing is though Harry it gets so much fucking worse because you retarded commie cunts shouldn't even be trusted to plan a picnic let alone centrally plan an entire country: - People as a whole don't stay in the same place... certain places pick up population while others lose it.. - At the same time the population is increasing. - On top of that, houses are not quantum time locked so they also fall prey to entropy. All of this means you also need new houses built in the market every year. The thing is, in this country you need a team of solicitors to build a fucking garden shed.. So nobody in their right fucking minds is building any houses in this market.. So yes Harry not only the amount of houses will go down but also the amount of houses available to rent will go down even further.. because of retarded cunts like you.

To get to 10 trillion in net worth, he would have to create hundreds of trillions of dollars worth of value.. Thats more than the entire annual GDP of the world in value creation.. This means, to get to 10 trillion he would have to single handedly change the entire world as a we know it at a fundamental level.. If he accomplishes this in his lifetime, 10 trillion is a very small salary..

It’s just gotten a lot better over the past 2 months, especially the last two weeks. GPT 5.5 was a huge leap in speed, especially for smaller iterative changes. It’s also gotten more Claude like in terms doing exactly what you ask it to do. This is a little annoying and takes a second to get used to but also a W with a lot of things.

- It’s not usually 10+ years, most failure cases last 2-3 years. - if u aren’t built for the lows u tap out within the 2-3 years - yes, if u aren’t actually built for it then you probably locked in for the 1-2 decades with venture after venture.. But the thing is, it’s usually 2-3 years and fail where u realise ur not cut out of it.. in this case u end up being highly employable… The version of it where you are cut out for it and your in the game for the long haul.. the alternative path would be hell/jail for you.. You’d rather got at it for 2 decades and take and L than the alternative.. And again if ur the type of person who goes at it a few times and takes the L… in most cases this makes you highly employable..

The romanticization of being a startup founder is kind of insane to me: – You’re statistically unlikely to succeed – You’ll have no life and be totally consumed - Incredible lows – You’re locking yourself in for 10+ years This is insanely hard and NOT for everyone.

Because it’s not our love for billionaires it’s our hatred for your kin and the ideology that drives you lot.. History didn’t start yesterday, we know what you are and where this story ends.. you don’t. You think you are waging a class warfare to pillage from the merchant class and redistribute it to “working class”.. In reality, you are being played like puppets by the statists to steal from the merchant class and enrich themselves.. they are literally creating a new class of royalty and you are the useful idiots who volunteered up to be their foot soldiers.. Money is made up.. it’s a term we use to describe value/property… if the government controls more and more of the economy.. it’s not the proletariat who are rich and powerful.. it’s the people who run the government.. Can’t you see you are literally stealing from Peter to give to Paul.. the only people win in the world are the elected and unelected bureaucrats and the people closest to them..

lol. I am in a WhatsApp group where founders in Nigeria with decades of experience in e-commerce were punching air . They swear they’ve pitched to these similar investors and couldn’t get a meeting. And when they did they were met with “how is this different from Jumia” and “this market is saturated”. I guess it was less about the market and more about “them”..
Emeka Ajene ✍🏽@eajene

This week, @SwoopAppNG, a food delivery app with super-app ambitions, announced a $7.3M seed round. It's expanding from Eswatini — where it claims to have become the country's largest e-commerce platform with 22k users (~2% of the country's population) — to Nigeria, Africa's most populous country with an estimated population of ~220M. The company's led by a 19-year-old Berkeley dropout and Thiel Fellow from Greenwich, Connecticut. And notably, all investors in the round are Silicon Valley-based — except South Africa's Base Capital. Swoop's strategy: low restaurant commissions (for now), flat 7% "handling fee," and letting riders keep 100% of delivery fees — forcing @Chowdeck and other incumbents to compete or lose their supply side. It's drawing premature comparisons to @WaveSenegal's disruption of mobile money in Francophone Africa and @OPay_NG's early blitzscaling across verticals before the pivot to payments. But perhaps the precedent to keep top of mind is Jumia Food — which exited food delivery in Nigeria & other markets, citing competitive dynamics that were "irrational" and expected to stay that way. "There will always be someone new coming into play." — @Jumia_Group CEO Francis Dufay (December 2023)

Prove me wrong. In the 1970s it used to cost tens of millions and a few years to get a drug in the market (and higher chance of success. Today it takes over a decade, cost around 1-2 billion dollars and the changes of success is around 10% Btw since the 1970s all the parts involved like manufacturing, chemical engineering, biological engineering, lab work, knowledge work etc advanced by leaps and bounds... If this is misinformed feel free to enlighten us to why this is the case? As the schizo posting, im extremely passionate about this subject. We should be currently in a medical renaissance.. Just the advancements that we've achieved in the last decade in gene therapy and biological engineering is enough to cure most modern illnesses plaguing humanity. The only reason they haven't is because they are not scalable and we still need several iterations/innovations/creativity etc etc.. But we can't.. do you know why? BECAUSE IT COST BILLIONS.. YOU LITERALLY NEED TO RAISE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS AND CREATE A COMPANY WITH DOZENS OF FDA LAWYERS.. If you still don't get it.. lets put it this way. imagine the difference between a world where cancer is cured using advanced gene-enginering therapy vs now.. that difference is a few thousand iterations and experiments.. Now imagine a world where each of these iterations/experiments cost hundreds of millions not because of laws of physics.. but because of communist cunts like you decided we can't have good things...

🚨 WOW! Joe Rogan reveals President Trump IMMEDIATELY offered him FDA approval for a psychedelic treatment in a text chain Because the data was SO CONVINCING and STUNNING "I wanna tell everybody how this happened. I send President Trump some information." "With one dose of Ibogaine, more than 80% of people are free of that addiction. With two doses, it's more than 90%. I sent him that information." "The text message came back, sounds great. Do you want FDA approval? Let's do it. It was literally that quick!" "For 56 years, we've lived under those terrible conditions. We're free of that now." "We're free of that now, thanks to all these people that you see next to me, and thanks to President Trump!" — @joerogan

Na the whole point is the current system is upside down. The took a flawed but working market and turned into an over regulated walled garden cesspool… And in the most poetically fucked up way the same people who got us here will point towards more central planning as the solution… The FDA and its other western counterparts are responsible for more human death and suffering than Hitler.. Nobody cares because you can’t easily calculate opportunities costs, what ifs etc etc… None of these drugs should be illegal. The default shouldn’t be illegal. The whole classification system is retarded. It shouldn’t take me 10 years and a billion dollars to get a drug to the market.. These things are mass produced in factories with massive economies of scale.. they only reason they cost this much is your mummy government.. It’s fucking stupid. Let me take the risk myself. What if ibogane doesn’t and might one shot me into going crazy.. I WANT TO TRY IT. Same with fucking peptides, I WANT TO BE BRUCE BANNER FUCK YOU… Do you have any idea of blood in their hands or your hands.. if it wasn’t for the FDA.. most cancer would’ve been cured by now, immune diseases etc etc.. Right now there are so many promising solutions but we can’t explore them because we are not sure and the cost to try is A WHOLE FUCKING DECADE AND A BILLION DOLLARS.. Because of fucking communism. YOU ARE PARASITES! Like seriously Cancer? If there is anything where you’d think they will go, na seriously guys fuck all the laws and procedures.. you do whatever needs to be done for us to even get 1% better.. Nope you people are the leeches of civilisation and that’s being generous because there are some benefits to blood letting..

Not only will it not solve problems it will end up creating more problems. Capital is a fungible call option on future value and when it come to the future, it is built at the very edge on the margins of many things.. We live in a world where knowledge is accessible to anyone. The purpose of these institutions was never to instil you with knowledge, it’s to provide signals (which goes both ways).. When society puts its thumbs on the scales and “democratise” education.. it completely erodes the value of the signal provided by these institutions.. Btw this isn’t a hypothetical future worse case scenario. It has already happened. We are living in this future. Most western nations provide “free education” either through gov backed loans or the eu way.. We are literally living the consequences of it right now.. every year there are people out of colleges with very little no prospect of a job.. Some of this woudlve have happened anyway but not at this scale, not this pervasive… we literally have people taking masters degrees to delay adult life and certain unemployment.. This is a direct cost of free education. It turns out we needed more plumbers, electricians, engineers, mechanics etc etc than political science majors, MBAs, computer scientists, lawyers etc etc.. Now you got a whole generation of people basically wasted years of their lives and in return burdened with debt that they can’t go bankrupt on.. And to make it worse, these people are not gonna end up blaming the central planners and commies cunts who came up with this genius idea nope.. they gonna instead go full eat the rich..

It’s a retarded argument. Just because Meta can replace their AI researchers it doesn’t mean they aren’t worth the hundreds of millions Zuckerberg paid to poach them from the AI labs.. For meta it’s existential, they will be extinct as a software company in FAANG without having their own SOTA foundational models… And btw this is a HUGE W for society because it means this revolutionary technology won’t be gatekept by 3 labs.. In your parasitic gay retarded world this would not be allowed because the idea that there could exist this AI researcher worth 100x more than customer support desk guy.. is unfathomable.. This is why you and your kin are cancer.. it’s literally crabs in the bucket mentality.. you are saying all the crabs in the bucket can only go as high as the water level you are in..

Naaaa this is Dunning Kruger take.. MCP is a deeply flawed protocol developed by a lab with great researchers and a shit eng org lead by tasteless people. CLIs will be a major pillar but the future your thinking of will be a standard in the operating system itself which will enable apps to open up an interface which agents can use as a harness. And this will most likely by bi-directional... Something similar to intents in mobile apps.. but much bigger and deeper... CLIs are currently being used as a rough transition step to this world.. This future will either by architected by the major OS platforms or AI Labs will created a hacked version of it and the OS platforms will forced to cook up something. My bet is Apple, they are heavily incentivised to set up before Google, OpenMicrosoft or AnthroAmazon takes up the whole field and puts them in a very low leverage position in the game for the future eyeballs/distribution.

It ultimately comes down to an inability to fully grasp and an unwillingness to accept that among us there are people who's value to society is worth more than the value from millions of people combined. I specifically used "society" instead of company because thats where most of the value is accrued to. The difference between a CEO paid $9 million a year vs a CEO paid $30 million a year is the difference between Tesco and Walmart.. And the proposed law would cap his and the executive salaries of most companies that employee the average person to about $500k/year.. So this law would effectively cap the level of talent of the execs of companies that employee low-middle class brits... It almost poetically fucks over the very people you lot claim to want to help. Again this ultimately comes down to the inability to grasp that there are people among us who will bring enough to the table to able to ask for millions a year as their cut..

This is why I found the whole "Anthropic surpasses OpenAI" takes funny... These blackwell class models were in the pipeline for months and were expected from every frontier lab during Q1/Q2 this year. OpenAI is going to release theirs soon.. so will Google and xAI.. The only surprise here is they are late. People predicted February/March time... now it looks like by the time all the frontier labs release it.. it will be end of Q2 or later..
loaf@lordOfAFew

So Mythos is a Blackwell class model, an absolute monster. Vera Rubin chips shipping in a few months, so the first of them will be live end of the year. 2-3x more powerful on Blackwell. Then 2028 we will have Feynman class models, 2-3x more powerful than Rubin. So we have a model now that companies are afraid of releasing and over the next 2 years we will have even larger jumps. The world is sleep walking into this future, it’s going to be a very different place.
