@FordIreland @Ford any update on the Kuga phev recall. There was supposed to be a solution by end of 2nd quarter and still no word. Still no reply to my last email to customer relations centre!

@FordIreland Just got letter re 24S79 kuga battery energy control module. Basically don't plug in plug in hybrid until 2nd quarter 2025! Adding additional cost to run as 2.5l in mainly city driving is not why purchased vehicle. Is ford planning any compensation to those effected?

@forduk What practical action will @Ford offer to provide me with a safe, reliable car until you fix the problem. What process does @Ford have to buy back the car now that you have made it unsellable due to the recall and the fact that the car sold is faulty goods. @WhichUK @AutoExpress

@forduk @WhichUK Hi. Like many others, I have been told by Ford that my Kuga PHEV is dangerous and I must not plug in my plug-in hybrid car. It's unacceptable to say, "Wait until maybe Q2 2025." The car is clearly not "reasonably durable" which it is my right to expect. #Kuga

@DonnaRa01238683 @forduk I was told they will offer me £100 goodwill but as you say it’s not going to compensate for the fuel. Especially as they are not sure it will be fixed until the end of June!

@forduk my hybrid Kuga has been recalled but you aren’t able to fix it yet!Been told not to use electric so are you going to pay for my fuel?I only do local journeys so mainly use electric.We are off away next month,is it safe to drive?

@forduk Another recall for my Kuga phev. Cannot charge it until further notice. My mileage is over 80% on the battery. Are Ford going to pay for fuel. Costs 4 times as much as running it on electric.

@lidl_ireland did you ever get any icebaths in stores. Checked multiple stores last Monday when they were due to come out and not 1 store had any and only 1 had a sign up for it.

@FordIreland v annoyed, booked car for service online 6 days ago for Thurs, got confirmation email. Rearranged my wk around this only for garage to ring today to say there is problem with the system and I am not booked in. Also can you explain why recall from June is postponed?

@SkyHelpIreland trying to watch Chelsea vs Leicester on sky go app. It appears on the list of programs but when click into it says unable to watch due to rights restrictions.? Is this true?
