This athletic looking man served a tour of duty in the United States Marine Corps from 1957 to 1959; while in the Marine Corps, he boxed regularly, winning 32 of 34 boxing bouts. He went on to be a popular character actor in many movies and tv series, as well as a much loved supporting character in one of the most popular movie franchises of the late 70s. That franchise made sequels reaching all the way to 2006 in which he acted in each of the original movie's subsequent sequels. Do you know who this young boxer is?

Anytime someone compares the college football playoff to a professional sport playoff, it’s a clear sign they do not fundamentally understand what makes college football special.

I don’t think any quote has shown how out of touch the leaders of college football are with what actually makes fans love the sport than the Big Ten commissioner comparing the College Football Playoff to MLB.

@jontweetssports I’ll add a second PSA for the guys. Make sure you get yours checked (your PSA that is). Prostate cancer is detectable and treatable but you HAVE to get checked. We don’t like to talk about it, but it’s not worth dying for.

PSA: statistics show a sharp rise in colorectal cancer for men under 40. I’ve had multiple people in my circle diagnosed with later stage in their late 30s - early 40s. I had a health scare at 32 & had a colonoscopy that found polyps. Get checked out if something seems off 🙏
