ok I get that @levelsio made an AI game and pulled in $70K+ | huge audience + smart execution but now everyone’s rushing to build the most basic AI game… with zero distribution strategy? Game dev is brutal to grow in. Some folks are in for a reality check 🙃

took a couple of weeks to analyze how to actually monetize my coding skills in a short amount of time (besides just building iOS apps) at first, I thought: "let’s build a SaaS and follow the startup journey..." but growth takes time—and time is limited. turns out—I can crank out multiple apps fast so here’s the move: • build my own apps as a portfolio • offer app creation as a service • reach out to buyers while stacking assets I’ll split my time 70/30 because iOS apps are still my long-term revenue play

If you’re building a startup, focus on things that never go out of style: - Health - Education - Making money - Entertainment People will always pay for these. Timeless markets.

Building a side project after your 9-to-5 isn’t just hard—it’s a trap You grind all night coding, but without distribution skills, it’s like launching a rocket with no fuel No marketing, no users, just a great product nobody sees Brutal

@mariosaputra yeah makes sense. in my niche, keywords like 'interior design' or similar are crazy expensive. that’s why I’m playing the long game with organic content... but I’m not ruling out creative tiktok or fb ads

So, my number one competitor is continuously paying for ads. I’ve tried once, but it was really expensive and not profitable for me. I’m curious is it really profitable for them? 🤔

Most founders obsess over the wrong things. They tweak the UI, refactor code, and “improve the UX.” Meanwhile, their competitor with an uglier, buggier product is scaling 10x faster. Why? Distribution. Not quality. Learn the difference

@juanjovn sometimes a VPN can help you reach US but TikTok may still detect it and flag your account. or maybe your videos might not have viral potential within your niche. try using creator search insights and publishing directly from there to see what happens

@egoiscof yep, for a couple weeks indeed vids are getting from 400 to 3k views so i don't think it's a warm up issue, what do you think?

I'm a way better developer than tiktoker. Since I shipped my app two weeks ago, I’ve piblished 40 videos. Trying different formats, researching what worked for others. Didn’t find a winning format yet. Downloads aren’t great either. However it’s a nice excuse for ripping tons of Pokemon packs 😬😬

7-day TikTok experiment for Designly AI: started posting 1-2x daily. first videos: minimal views. now: views doubled as algorithm learns my content hard to track exact conversion since downloads could be from ASO too waiting for that one viral hit to see a clear spike in App Store metrics this week I'll finish warming up the IG account to see if I get better results

@alexcooldev yeah I’ve noticed most people on the weekly plan just forget about it… which means higher MRR 🤩

Don't forget your weekly package! My weekly plan, when calculated monthly, is $40/month. I never intended for users to subscribe to the weekly plan, but guess what? It has always been the most popular subscription. Some users have even paid me up to $120 in 3 months, even though my annual plan is only $98 🫢

Everyone says “build in public,” but nobody wants to market in public. Share the process of getting users. That’s the real game.

Apple took 30% of my revenue from day one. I could’ve waited to join the Small Business Program and kept 15% more. But waiting would’ve cost me something far greater—momentum, experience, and real data. If you’re always waiting for the perfect moment, you’ll miss out. Start now.

Here are all the tools you need to build a mobile app in the next 30 days: (#6 will skyrocket your conversion) 1: SensorTower – Spy on competitors & see how much they’re making. This is how you validate your app idea. 2: Mixpanel – Analyze user behavior & optimize retention. 3: Upwork – Hire top-tier developers & designers to build your app fast. 4: Superwall – A/B test paywalls without app updates to maximize revenue. 5: RevenueCat – Track subscribers, purchases, and lifetime value (LTV). 6: Mobbin & Paywallscreens – Reverse-engineer top onboarding flows & paywalls to optimize conversions. 7: TikTok Ads – Drive massive downloads with viral short-form content. 8: Posted – Get high-quality user-generated content (UGC) at scale. Comment "send" and I’ll DM you a spreadsheet with every tool I mentioned.
