@SUndertale28269 i tried doing this, and at one point i accidentally clicked share instead of play again, and it brought up some weird glitched tab (where you have to restart to close it) and on the same window i had smth i spent 2 hours on without saving, so this forced me to lose that 💔💔💔💔

@ehmorris Even on hackernews the highest number of flips that includes a landing seems to be 206... And I bet they didn't have asteroids back then!

@sam_holder Scoring is based solely on landing speed and angle. It’s more impressive to get a good score AND have good secondary stats, but it’s not all bundled into the score. Seemed bad to me to give a 100+ landing to a fast, angled landing that had lots of flips. Bit OP.

@ehmorris How does the scoring work? How come you can get 100+ points for a crash, but I did 63 flips, went 58,000 ft and managed to land it and got 15.9 points? Do flips modify the successful landing score?

The team at @JivaAg has been making sub-challenges to @ehmorris's landing game. This is my record in category of 'best crash, sub one minute, max height less than 300ft, at least one flip, engine used exactly once'.

A few days back @ehmorris released a game ehmorris.com/lander/ (it's awesome xD). I build a custom RL environment for it to train a PPO model and see if it can make a landing. Luckily training it for 1 million steps (~14 hrs), it's able to make a (meh..) type of landing
