ARC Raiders is a smash hit, but I genuinely don't understand how they're so slow on patching Day 1 exploits or perma banning repeat rage hackers. Even when COD Ricochet was getting destroyed in prime Verdansk, Activision had someone manually banning rage hackers stream sniping the biggest names. It's horrid advertising to the millions of people watching these guys, but more importantly it encourages more new cheaters and will inevitably irreperably damage the culture of the game if it unchecked. The moment some people have the excuse of "well there's so many cheaters already" or "Embark is soft on cheaters" (temp bans? wtf are we doing???) they will have created an unstoppable snowball of incoming cheaters (see slow reactions from Tarkov or Warzone vs aggressive defense like Valorant). I love ARC (and enjoy PvE more than most streamers) but this post-launch support and urgency is abysmal.
