@freyamarske To make it up to me, my dad took me to see Titanic: the musical. I was intensely committed to not enjoying it unless it had Jack and Rose in it (it didn’t) but against my will, loved every minute of it and wept my way through the second act.

I have a 3-hour drive today and another tomorrow, so: now soliciting recs for your favourite (recent or classic) musical cast recordings! I have listened to a LOT of musicals but I'm always up for discovering new ones, so tell me your faves & why you love them.

"When exactly to tell my boss" is a bit of a headache, but ultimately a tiny headache compared to everything else. OMG I'm so relieved jkdfjklajklfdjkldfjklajklö I am getting out!!

Thanks again to ppl who gave me pets when I was having my dark teatime of the soul the other day over that offer maybe going away. Turned out people in key positions had a few chaos days - the offer has now actually been made, the money is fine, and I can sign early next week!
