@AshleyGWinter @ISSWSH I always think I can pump during breaks at meetings but end up talking to ppl. If mtg does not have CCTV in lactation room you will miss a ton of the meeting. Now my setup for just pumping in front of others is the Baby Buddha and Freemie slim cups. & have hotel freeze milk!

Amazing @bidmcobgynrez Chelsea Manning presents research #AAGL22 on racial disparities in utilization of #MIS #hysterectomy. Black pts >2x likely to have open surgery, & even after correcting for everything under the 🌞, 42% diff cannot be explained by clinical factors alone.

@AsheeBritt Hi! I had made a video for BIDMC which I believe they still have on their Endometriosis Center website - perhaps that is what you’re looking for?

@ejorgensenmd you had a wonderful video about questions to ask your provider for Endometriosis surgery but I'm struggling to find it, could you please point me to it if you see this? ☺️

@SarahLJorgensen Also if trouble sleeping a traditional kindle (no blue light, won’t crush you when you drop it, and turns itself off) with a boring book can be really helpful. This saved me in residency and at same time I got to read a ton of “Great Books” I missed in school

@SarahLJorgensen For shifts in sched Benadryl is helpful for getting to sleep & preventing waking. Your body becomes accustomed; if taking a lot you need a couple days off to reset every 2 wks. If dependent on antihistamines for sleep you can change the one you’re on, like use unisom on off days

MS4s If you can make a little money this year, it’ll smooth out the process of filing your taxes electronically for 2022. Which helps you prove low or no income on your income driven loan repayment application next year. Ask any interns you know well. They’ll tell you!

@olsonplanner It is very easy to just fill out the tax return form on your own without software if you have $0 income. I always filed in Med school - and some years would get stimulus $$ etc that way

@drdre424 @FMIGS1 I always go through OR images, and when I have radiology reports I always print them & go through w patient. Frequently there is something we consider totally normal that I find out the patient saw in their portal that’s been making them worried but didn’t know how to ask about

A student recently told me many docs from various specialties advised against showing patients their imaging. That it might induce anxiety. As a rule, I always review images with patients. I think it helps with explanation. Thoughts? @FMIGS1 #obgyntwitter
