I had one of the surgeons involved in this (@migsrunner) speak at my Open Endoscopy Forum a couple of years ago, although I groaned a bit when she gave the title, she had awesome practical insights driven by hard core data. She made me a convert to the mission (at least as she implements it). It checks boxes of practicality across many dimensions having nothing to do with green behavior but just common sense and improved patient care. I could not believe it, but it is a hugely interesting and valuable movement.

Viewpoint: Moving towards a more "green" practice of medicine, by prioritizing sustainability and reusable devices, allows us to reinvest in the health of patients and the health of future generations. ja.ma/3DypPE2
