@SavLovesSwift IT DEPENDS ON THE HOLIDAY. New Years is a perfect holiday for a wedding because it's not about family and people want plans. You're not asking people to miss a beach weekend (Memorial/Independence/Labor Day) or family gathering (Thanksgiving, Christmas)

People are sooooo insufferable. Have you considered that someone else’s wedding day is not about you? Have you considered you can just RSVP no? Have you considered some people might find the idea of celebrating a loved one’s wedding on a holiday FUN?

hello friends. this is a difficult post to write but during my mental health crisis I relapsed & drank. I didn’t think I’d be alive in the morning, so it didn’t matter. but here I am, starting again.
recovery is not linear. my two years still stands—I simply continue the work.

New Years is notoriously a night when everyone is looking for some sort of celebration and it can be hard to find one that lives up to the hype and expectation, reservations difficult, etc

My dogs were EXEMPLARY on our holiday trip. Perfect good behavior in hotels and cars and unfamiliar homes, good polite boys with babies and the elderly alike. No one even got car sick!
Within five minutes back home they found something VILE to roll in.

My teens got super into Knives Out. Looking for more mystery films and series that lean more charming than horror. Thinking of something like Magpie Murders--a little cozy, very smart. Any recs?
