@MusicOfLee I use a proper metronome regularly. I find the speakers on my phone aren’t loud enough (classical violinist here). Also it’s annoying to constantly run your phone battery down while practising 😂

How many musicians actually use/own a physical metronome these days? Does everyone just use their phone?

@chilternrailway Covid/WFH is just not a valid excuse any more. Loads of people are back in the office, more people are going to/from events in London in the evenings. Just call a spade a spade and say you’re reducing the services to make more money.

@chilternrailway More cancelled services through Amersham. The service through this very busy route is just getting worse and worse. The late night trains are especially bad, usually dangerously overcrowded. This is a vital route for so many commuters and it’s just getting poorer and poorer

@TfL @MayorofLondon Once again, vanishing trains to Chesham/Amersham with no announcement or explanation. What happened to the 10.34 Baker St to Amersham? I travel at night due to my work and this happens at least 50% of the time! Stop lying about having a good service!

@TfL @MayorofLondon Yet again another terrible journey home on the Met line to Chesham/Amersham. Cancelled trains, but no announcements or information. When is it going to change? We’ve been promised improvements for YEARS now and it’s the same old bad service.

Bittersweet news in the budget re #childcare The roll out is just too slow to help struggling parents now. Seems a missed opportunity to increase tax free childcare to help parents in the interim if there was no way to introduce the free hours faster?

@TfL Sick to the back teeth of your appalling service to Chesham&Amersham. Near daily delays/cancellations. I’m 7 months pregnant and rushed for the 22.04 from Baker St only to find it doesn’t exist. Staff extremely unhelpful. Glad Uxbridge gets 3 trains within 15 mins, tho 🫠
