India should be able to appreciate every chapter of its history without feeling threatened by it. The Mughals left behind magnificent architecture, art, cuisine, language, and culture. The British left institutions, infrastructure, and the English language—which opened doors for millions, including me. I would not have achieved what I have without mastering English. A mature civilization acknowledges both the achievements and the mistakes of its past. Yet today, too much energy is spent hating what came before us instead of building on it. We should be grateful to the generations that laid the foundations we inherited, learn from history, and focus our attention on creating a better future. The future is full of opportunity. Let’s embrace it rather than remain trapped in endless battles over the past.

Congrats to our very Innovative, transformative PM @narendramodi on completing 12 year as PM. He is undoubtedly the most successful PM we have had in our history and has positively impacted the largest number of Indians. He has transformed India Best for the future. @PMOIndia
Yogi Adityanath@myogiadityanath

So Delhi Gymkhana Club matter gets urgent hearing in the Delhi HC tomorrow and the lawyer is Congress MP Abhishek Manu Singhvi. Ordinary citizens wait years for hearings on real shit like jobs, houses, bail. But when rich members face losing their fancy club on prime public land, boom…. urgent slot ! Rule is simple: Money and the right senior advocate talk louder than any urgency for the common man. Gymkhana gets heard tomorrow. The rest of India keeps queuing. That’s the system.

Assam and Bengal are clear cases of the election being stolen by the BJP with the support of the EC. We agree with Mamata ji. More than 100 seats were stolen in Bengal. We have seen this playbook before: Madhya Pradesh. Haryana. Maharashtra. Lok Sabha 2024 etc चुनाव चोरी, संस्था चोरी - अब और चारा ही क्या है!

Open letter to Indians in America. -- Dear brothers and sisters from Bharat: Like I did 37 years ago, you arrived in America with no money but with a good education and cultural heritage from Bharat. You achieved outstanding success. America was good to us. For that we must remain grateful - gratitude is our Bharatiya way. Yet today, a significant number of Americans, may be not the majority but not too far from it either, believe that Indians "take away" American jobs and our success in America was unfairly earned. You may think the next election will fix this, but your choice would be between people who hate our Bharatiya civilisation and people who hate civilisation itself. That is the "hard right" vs "woke left" battle. You are mere bystanders to that conflict. Meanwhile there is one thing that is true now and will be true in the future: the respect Indians command world-wide will substantially depend on the fortunes of India herself. If India remains poor, the woke left will give us moral lectures with pity and the hard right, different moral lectures with scorn ("hellhole") and we must not confuse either with respect. Respect in today's world, along with prosperity and security, comes from one source: a nation's technological prowess. India produces sufficient brain power to achieve that prowess but alas we exported so much of that talent, particularly to America. As we develop that prowess in India, our civilisational strength will assert itself. As difficult as it is for many of you to contemplate this, please come back home. Bharat Mata needs your talent. Our vast youthful population needs the technology leadership you gained over the years to guide them towards prosperity. Let's do it with a missionary zeal. Respectfully Sridhar Vembu

He’s not reading anything here. Just look at that backlight placed under the papers for the photo. Think a bit about how this was actually shot. Saheb would’ve told the team, “Let’s take a picture of me going through some files.” Then the cameraman probably said there isn’t enough lighting. So someone suggested, “Let’s keep a mobile flashlight under the papers, it’ll give a nice effect. Meanwhile, Sir, you just look at the file.” And then another genius in the room must’ve said, “Sir, hold a pen also… will look more original.” Think about this man, who is a full time actor, part time Prime Minister. All of this drama is unravelling and all the fools who supported this man will hang their head in shame.

Hindu discipline teaches us to remember the Divine at all times at sunrise, noon, and sunset through Sandhyā, and beyond. Devotion is not a moment; it is a way of life. From Vedic discipline to the spirit of Pancha Mahayajnas, every act becomes an offering. The Bhagavad Gita (8.7) reminds us: “Remember Me at all times.” Through japa, stotra, or silent prayer, this constant remembrance aligns us with Dharma. In our tradition, prayer is speaking to the Divine, and meditation is listening. Both are essential. To question such devotion is to misunderstand the inclusive and expansive nature of Sanatana Dharma. #SanatanaDharma #HinduPhilosophy #BhagavadGita #Yoga #Meditation #Dharma #SpiritualIndia

INDIA NEEDS A NEW POLITICS. AND A NEW LEADERSHIP. THINGS HAVE CHANGED IN THE POST-TRUMP ERA. MODI LOOKS LIKE A THOROUGH MISFIT: CLUELESS . When it comes to the highest office in the land, I think the experiment with the romanticism of humble origins, spun successfully by the BJP in 2014, has proved costly for India. Disastrous, honestly. EVERY world leader has taken on the dangerous buffoon in the White House who is daily destroying the rules-based international order, flawed as it may be. They have done so with panache, confidence and courage at UN, press conferences, global summits, Davos etc. The world needs visionary leaders, not puppets of crony capitalists looking for opportunistic deal-making that will help them in domestic politics PM Modi, unfortunately, cannot speak anywhere to anyone internationally because of two reasons: He does not know and therefore he does not know what to say. He cannot speak fluently on anything without a teleprompter, other than the usual gibberish during vicious polarizing election speeches in India where he is totally himself when humiliating his opponents. But times have changed. Leaders are being judged by their ability to sound like statesmen, not a petty small-minded politician on a 24x7 vote grab. Our stature globally has collapsed. We are in a woeful rut. We look like pushovers. We have abandoned our opportunity to lead the Global South. We have regressed on the world map. Bhakts/ AndhBhakts are happy that BJP is winning elections by hook or by crook, and most of my fellow Indians seem to be okay with that. Strange times. Short-term thinking. And selfish. The country is obsessed with hurting and killing stray dogs. It has lost the plot. Lynching is normalized. Of humans. It is dystopian. Upper middle class is happy with their SUV, 10 minute delivery of toilet rolls, and coastal roads. We have become inward looking, happy to fight battles with Aurangzeb and even Gandhi and Nehru. It is asinine. But that is the truth of India. You can’t run a country for 10 years on pure bombastic speeches, opposition thrashing, castigating Pandit Nehru, and melodramatic gestures. Governance, foreign policy, budget-making, climate change, AI, tech and privacy, trade deals, Gen Z and Gen Alpha requirements etc. requires education, foresight, inclusive spirit, articulation and full transparency. It’s time we looked at a new politics. And a new kind of political leadership. In all honesty, this is also the mammoth failure of the weakest opposition in our political history. And, of course, the Big Business owned corporate media that has sold its soul to Modi for a pittance and has sustained his image amidst the ruins that is Indian democracy. A new kind of political leadership must rise from the chaos and the madness. India deserves hope. India and Indians deserves a million times better. We are living consciously in a fool’s paradise. And that is living a lie.

Bengaluru has given opportunities, identity, and success to millions - it deserves collective effort, not constant criticism. Yes, challenges exist, but we’re addressing them with focus and urgency. ₹1,100 crore has been sanctioned for road repairs, 10000+ potholes identified, and over 5000+ already fixed on priority. Major infrastructure works are underway to make Bengaluru more globally competitive. Under the Greater Bengaluru Authority, East Corporation alone will now retain ₹1,673 Cr of its own revenues to directly improve infra in 50 wards, directly benefitting our IT corridors. With major works like the CSB–KR Puram redevelopment, Elevated Corridors, we are strengthening infrastructure for citizens, employees, and companies alike. Instead of tearing Bengaluru down, let’s build it up - together. The world sees India through Bengaluru, and we owe it to our city to rise united! #NammaBengaluru

✅Top five blood investigations that could help in identifying individuals at high risk of heart attack or stroke in future 1. High sensitivity C Reactive Protein (hs-CRP): Detects chronic low-grade inflammation—a strong independent predictor of first heart attack and stroke 2. Lipoprotein (a): Genetically elevated lipoprotein (a)-Lp (a) is a lifetime risk enhancer; valuable in young patients or those with a family history of heart attack or stroke. 3. Apolipoprotien B (ApoB): More accurately reflects total atherogenic lipoprotein burden than LDL-Cholesterol; critical in risk reclassification. 4. Fasting insulin/HOMA-IR: Identifies early insulin resistance and metabolic syndrome before diabetes is diagnosed. 5. Glycosylated haemoglobin (HbA1C): Detects prediabetes and undiagnosed diabetes—both major risk factors for heart attack and stroke. ✅Additional parameters that could be helpful: 1. BP (Blood pressure) 2. Waist circumference or Waist hip ratio- Measure of abdominal obesity. (DEXA scan is more accurate for assessment of adiposity).
