Jon Scheyer has to take a hard look in the mirror after today.
His #1 overall squad just went toe to toe with 16 seed Siena who played their starting five for ALL 40 MINUTES.
You can blame it all on execution, but it’s his responsibility to prepare them too.
Need to be better.

@TheWestbrookEra 2 dynasties and then faced a goat in the finals with a top 3 shooting guard

They played in an era where you had to beat a 67 win team and then a 73 win team just to make the finals in the west. So yes, they aren’t the same 👍🏾

SGA and J Dub doing what these guys couldn’t is genuinely hard for me to wrap my head around.

The literal only thing that is changing these people’s minds is them seeing the rule affect their favorite players. Every single one of them cheered the rule being made when they thought it would only affect Joel Embiid.

Sources: Some members of the Houston Rockets regret the Kevin Durant trade
“A lot of guys miss Jalen and Dillon,” one source said. “Kevin hasn’t bonded with anyone here yet.”

Frustrating game, Bulls nation. Hell of a season though. The outliers in this game were Wes Enis shooting 0-11 for three and McKneely shooting 7-10 for three (70%). Those are the outliers that swayed the game. McKneely averages 10 and got 23. Enis averages 17 and got 4. That’s the game right there. USF shot 5-33 for three (uncharacteristic) and Louisville shot 13-25 for three, 7 big ones coming from McKneely. The crazy part is, even with McKneely having the outlier game he had (in a great way) and Enis having the outlier game he had (in the worst way), USF lost by 4 points. USF lost by 4 points even after shooting 5-33 for three AND McKneely shooting 7-10 for three. Now that’s incredible. Essentially, USF got here by shooting the three ball extremely well, both Enis and Pinion made over 100 threes on the season. We are in this tournament because of the three ball by two shooters. We shot 5-33 for three and lost by 4 points.
In conclusion, Louisville isn’t that good and USF isn’t that bad. USF should have won that game if they had come out with the same fire that they had in the last 10 minutes of the second half. Why wait to get fired up with 10 minutes left? McKneely was fired up from the get go.
I believe USF played a bad game and Louisville played a better than expected game (McKneely shooting 70% for three) while Enis shot 0-11 for three. The thing I think USF will have to think about for a long time is why they waited so long to play fired up basketball, had we started the game like we finished then even with the bad shooting we still would’ve won that game. Frustrating.
Okay Louisville fans, talk your smack. It was fun trolling all week.
