Trump is a master at playing word games. What he literally said: We are getting close to accomplishing what we want to accomplish (and therefore haven't quite done so yet) as we "consider" winding down our actions [in Iran]. He commits to absolutely nothing, and actually implies that there's still work to be done. After all, they're merely "considering" a "winding down" which is two layers of abstraction separated from actually stopping. But he knows all this. I'm not telling him anything even if he read this. The interesting thing is why he wants you to get the impression he's almost done. Just consider what else is happening in the media. After all, he sent this message to (and through) the media. They keep asking him about Kharg Island. CBS is getting reports about "preparations for ground troops in Iran" He was losing the element of surprise. People were starting to guess what's next. So he decided to throw people back in the blender.

This is false. There’s a difference between universal mail-in ballots and having the option to vote by mail. Governor Lombardo supports ending automatic ballots sent to everyone and returning to a system where voters request them. As mentioned in his state of the state: “Anyone who wants or needs a mail-in ballot should have every right to request and receive one.”
