Electrify Britain CEO @camillaborn urges the government to support households trapped on oil heating for good, warning that soaring costs since the War in Iran highlight the urgent need to switch homes to modern electric heating. ⚡

Electrify Britain's director of policy and advocacy, Ben Westerman, welcomes the announcement from the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero to accelerate the rollout of plug-in solar and shield households from global fossil-fuel price shocks. ⚡

Joking aside, delays to the Future Homes Standard create real uncertainty for industry investment, workforce planning, and the homes being built today. With concerns about energy bills rising again, people want long-term solutions that protect household energy security.
