Our house has been listed for sale for a month and we have only had one viewing.

I subscribed to The Economist a long time ago on a student deal, back when it offered good analysis. Then in around 2002 they went full Bush Derangement Syndrome, which is when I unsubscribed. The funny things is that all these years later, they’re still emailing me, trying to get me to sign back up.

Absolute bombshell. Former UK Minister Alan Duncan confirms there was a clear peace agreement mediated by Oman for ZERO nuclear proliferation in Iran. But it was sabotaged and betrayed by Israel because they always wanted to attack Iran. Israel started this war!

It was bad enough that the First Lady wanted to preside over the Security Council but the issue then was at least somewhat up her lane. But nobody would have blinked if they delayed it given the news. She should have insisted.

All that’s missing now is what Trump will extort from the deal. The last time Paramount showed up for government approval (in mid-2025 when it merged with Skydance), Trump held up the merger until he got a $16 million payoff.
