Our Executive Director, @Hassan_shire, along with part of our senior management team, welcomed @elinrs, the MFA Director General for International Development Cooperation, Climate and Ocean Affairs, Palina Matthiasdotti, the Director of Bilateral Development Cooperation, and @Hildigunnur, the Head of Mission @IcelandinUganda. The discussion focused on gaining insights into the protection of HRDs and identifying policy priority areas to guide program strategies and implementation. We congratulate Iceland on their recent election to the Human Rights Council and express our gratitude for the support from the government and people of Iceland in protecting the most vulnerable HRDs in Africa.
