@AmericanAir total disaster at ASE. One world emerald, checked in 24hrs ago, at airport 1.5 hours prior to flight as advised, just needed to drop off bags but huge slow moving queues at AA desks only. Denied boarding as bags not checked in on time….

Other families in similar situations. Kids missing Disneyland. Staff blaming us for not arriving earlier despite actually arriving on time!

@ClareGerada @davewilson2 @CoireR If your training ill prepared you for your role, then do some CPD to catch up. Also knowledge in ADHD has massively increased in last 20 years. When did you finish your training?

A pet hate of mine are private ADHD clinics which then ask GPs to prescribe on NHS - and do all the follow up & monitoring.

@DustynSaint @DrHollysMum @ClareGerada 5% of your patients have ADHD. You see it all the time. Only you diagnose anxiety and depression instead because you never actually screen for it.

@DrHollysMum @ClareGerada We see it pretty infrequently in GP land-which means it actually is quite hard to diagnose. We don’t have the time or tools. Contrast that with depression and anxiety which are dead common. I’m quite confident very few of my GP colleagues would be confident in diagnosing.

@ClareGerada @davewilson2 @CoireR ADHDers deserve the care that they get. 13 years lower life expectancy. Anxiety, depression. 1 in 20... can’t all be treated only by psychiatrists, not enough of them.

@10DowningStreet How about masks required indoors and outdoors apart from at home? Plenty of cafes and restaurants with both staff and customers not wearing masks (London). Plus other spaces where there is a clear risk. We know aerosol spread, time to stop it now.

Japan has less than 1,000 covid deaths. They never went in to full economic shut down. They have an unemployment rate of 2.6%. How did they do it? Virtually everybody wears a mask. Americans have no idea how fucking stupid they look on the world stage.

Another day with a death toll over 100. Nearly all of them in England. The 137 total higher than on the day we went into lockdown. Government and media have normalised big numbers of deaths and criminal incompetence. Never mind back into pubs. People should be up in arms 1/2
