@theTMMB22 @compbrdscss @NBA_NewYork There is a difference between hating the sin and hating the sinner.
English

@compbrdscss @NBA_NewYork Jesus spent His time defending the people society pushed out, not joining the crowds looking for someone to condemn. “I desire mercy, not sacrifice” (Matthew 9:13). Truth without love isn’t how He moved…He lifted the outcast before He ever picked up a stone.

Jaden Ivey on IG Live: "All I'm preaching is about Jesus Christ and they waived me. They say I'm crazy, I'm psycho…God let these things happen for a reason…When I came into the league all I wanted to do was win championships, get millions of bucks, get that next contract, get all them cars, that's all I wanted–until the Lord showed me. What good is it to gain the world & forfeit your soul? What good is it to not follow the Lord, obey his commandments?…You only get to drive the Ferrari for the time being…when has anyone driven a Ferrari for 10 hours? No one…you only drive it for however long…What good is it gonna do for y'all on Judgment Day if you don't know the Lord Jesus Christ and obey his commandments?…It's not gonna do no good doing your will and trying to win championships…that's where many stumble…That's why you got Steph Curry…he don't know Jesus, and I pray he comes to the truth, that him & his family be saved in Jesus name…All them rings he got…all them rings LeBron got, Michael Jordan got, all them people in the HOF who don't know Jesus Christ, it's not gonna matter on Judgment Day…They gonna try to stop me but I'm not, I'm gonna be speaking the Truth…That's why everybody around me turning their back on me, because of my faith…I didn't get myself waived–I was in the gym today rehabbing…doing my job…doing whatever they said to do…and they kicked me out. And I'm sure every NBA team gonna say the same thing: 'We don't want him, he's too religious for us'…I hope you turn to Jesus Christ…that you can be forgiven of your sin…we've all sinned…there has to be an atonement, there has to be something…God is faithful to do it but…you have to believe…Jesus gives you power over the devil…please turn to Jesus Christ…it's not his will that these players perish in the NBA…they searching for something they not gonna achieve…they got all these goals…they need to be searching what's the next goal I can do for the Lord Jesus Christ…you gotta have faith in Jesus…They gonna cancel me I'm telling you…This word is gonna be preached…He's gonna come like a thief in the night for those who don't believe…nothing good in the world besides following Jesus Christ…Y'all think y'all hidden…He sees the things you're doing at night…the pornography…the fornication…the lying…the physical abuse…the fighting––"
Flight attendant: "I'm sorry to bother you…are you on your mobile?…it interferes with the communication"
Ivey: "May Jesus bless y'all…My god's willing to save the dirtiest of sinners…May you be blessed in Jesus name"

WATCH: Video
A dramatic video gives motorists a rare look at how quick thinking and proper driving skills can mean the difference between becoming a victim and making a clean escape.
The footage shows a driver being boxed in by suspected hijackers on a public road. Instead of freezing or trying to force his way forward, the motorist immediately switches to reverse and makes a split-second decision that likely saved his life.
What follows can only be described as a masterclass behind the wheel.
With the suspects attempting to close in, the driver accelerates in reverse at speed, maintaining full control of the vehicle while navigating the road with precision.
His passenger opens the door and jumps out leaving the door open but that does not stop him.
Despite the chaos, the driver keeps his line clean, showing remarkable spatial awareness as he continues reversing over a considerable distance without losing control or veering off the road.
The hijackers, clearly caught off guard, could not keep up.

@okafor_nna54678 @TaraBull What he did before could justify this behavior? Just curious.

The NBA's last two minute report says calling the foul on Jay Huff's flop was the correct call
MrBuckBuck@MrBuckBuckNBA
A wild ending in the Clippers-Pacers game: Kawhi Leonard hits the jumper over 2 Pacers, with 0.4 seconds remaining, giving the Clippers the lead, Andrew Nembhard banks in the long inbound pass - turnover. Bennedict Mathurin misses both clutch free throws, the Pacers call a timeout, Jay Huff gets fouled on the inbound by Brook Lopez, but he misses both chances to tie the game, and in fact, missed a chance to win the game So Kawhi Leonard with the game winner in A WILD ENDING in Indiana
English

@elothean @MrRaysian @WorldWideWob The entire team and coaching staff was coaching him up to do that flop during the timeout. He definitely didn't expect the call because he was laughing after they called it
English

@JorClipper @MrRaysian @WorldWideWob my guess is he flopped on instinct and didnt expect to get the call lol
English

@MrRaysian @WorldWideWob Why was he grifting for free throws then?
English

@TomerAzarly I propose a rule change, if a team's inbound went in without anyone in the court touching the ball, it should be 3/2 points for the other team lol
English

The final 0.4 seconds of this Clippers-Pacers game after Kawhi's jumper took 9 minutes of real time to be played.

Kawhi Leonard game winner with 0.4 remaining! Clippers come back from down 24 to win!

The NBA presented three comprehensive anti-tanking concepts to its Board of Governors on Wednesday, with modifications expected to each before a formal vote in May, per ESPN sources.
1. 18 teams in draft lottery (seeds 7-15 in each conference) – flattened odds, with bottom 10 teams having an 8% chance, the remaining 20% odds distributed in decreasing order for 11 through 18, and and a lottery drawing for all 18 picks.
2) 22 teams in lottery using 2-year record (seeds 7-15, plus the four playoff first round exits in both conferences). Lottery teams would reach a minimum win total floor in each season, such as 25 wins. If a team falls short of the floor, it gets slotted to meet the floor. Top 4 drawn as part of lottery, as is currently.
3) 18 teams in a "5 by 5" lottery – bottom 5 teams have equal odds for the top pick, with lottery formed for picks 1-5. Bottom 5 teams have a floor at 10; those that fall out of top 5 get sorted in a separate drawing.

@Farbod_E @ClippersPod
He was great on the pod last night. Petition for Carl & JRW to be on the pod more.
And we’re gonna need the “Clippers Curse” back on the show too. 😅

Carl Tart created the greatest song about the Clippers I've ever seen. Spoiler alert: it's about Amir Coffey.

@TheNBABase @espn or have teams vote on the ranking of the top 8. They will naturally vote the worst team to get the top pick, also preventing those who were bad just bec of injuries or good teams w bad team’s pick to get high picks.
English

The NBA has presented three radical concepts to the Board of Governors to combat tanking, per @espn
Proposal 1
• 18 teams would enter the lottery (Bottom 10 + all 8 Play-In teams).
• All bottom 10 teams would have an EQUAL 8% chance at the No. 1 pick.
• Unlike the current format, ALL 18 spots would be determined by the lottery drawing.
Proposal 2
• 22 teams included (Bottom 10, 8 Play-In, and 4 first-round playoff losers).
• Odds are weighted by record across TWO seasons (WNBA style).
• Win Floor: Teams must hit a minimum win total (ex: 20 wins) for lottery purposes to discourage extreme losing.
Proposal 3
• 18 teams in the lottery (Bottom 10 + 8 Play-In).
• The bottom 5 teams all receive the same odds.
• Separate drawings for the Top 5 picks, then another for the remaining 13 spots.
• Safety Net: The 5 worst teams cannot fall lower than 10th, preventing a total collapse.

@UziCryptoo It's the tooth. The tooth is broken, that's why you went to the dentist. 😂

@pdub110 @FastbreakHoops5 I think in this instance, this is considered a gather 1-2 than a step thru. I don't like it either

Here's the key rule (straight from NBA official traveling guidelines):Once a player establishes a pivot foot (the foot that stays planted after receiving the ball or ending a dribble), they may lift that pivot foot to shoot or pass.
But they cannot put that same pivot foot back down on the floor before releasing the ball.
The non-pivot foot can move freely (that's what creates the "step through" around the defender).
In the step-through:Player lands/jump-stops and establishes one foot as the pivot.
They lift the pivot foot off the ground.
They "step through" with their body/ non-pivot foot to create space or angle toward the basket.
They release the shot (or pass) while the pivot foot is still in the air.

@SnapAgainThanos @BrickCenter_ wow, a pinkie foul at game speed. 🤣 That surely caused SGA's leg to kick that high
English

For those not seeing it, this is a still shot showing White's pinky making contact with SGA's wrist.
It wasn't a lot of contact, but it was enough to make one of the world's best mid range shooters shoot an air ball.
It's fair to argue he should've been called for a push off, but it's wrong to say there was no contact on the shot
