@Hragy We once had a bird nest in the bathroom's gas heater exhaust pipe. We had two quick same day incidents of almost fainting and suffocation while showering before we made the discovery (back in Egypt - Dokki).

I have something really important! The 2 pigeon eggs hatched!! We now have two amazing egyptian dove babies , chicks and parents ok! But the light they chose as their nest is just above Dongol’s enclosure and bed🤢

@Helplessly38523 @Zeinobia Known locally as poinciana. Seedlings are commonly sold at nurseries. I bought one and it grew so fast that I transferred it to the street within a year. Also it is the only deciduous tree that I know in Egypt.

Omg is that Delonix regia??!! I'm such a fan These trees aren't native to Egypt but were introduced by Khedive Ismail from Madgascar. They're my fav trees in Cairo <3.

First snow of the season in mountains of Sinai happens in Spring. March is becoming the wettest month in Egypt, at least for the normally less wet interior non-coastal parts like Cairo (< 25mm of rain, 1" for the whole year).

@wx_luk3 I have been in the NRV for 10 years. This one just became the one with most snow cover yesterday (for me). Probably this pack will survive until Wednesday. Last year was the most February snow pack days, which will be tied on tomorrow.

We have about 7-8 inches of snowpack here in Blacksburg, VA. We have had snow on the ground since January 24th. Events during this stretch: Jan 24-25: 4.5 inches Jan 26: 0.5 inches Jan 30-31: 5 inches Feb 4: 0.3 inches Feb 6-7: 2.5-3 inches Been very memorable! #vawx

@KevinMyattWx Continuous snow cover on my way from Blacksburg to Raleigh until I reached Durham. Large-scale melting through the Piedmont specially Winston-Salem to Greensboro then Hillsborough. They got 10"+.

This will be 11th consecutive day of snow cover at Roanoke, among top 20 streaks dating to mid 1940s, tying Jan 2022 for most in 2020s. Still 4 inches hard-packed with sleet so likely makes it to next week. That would put streak in top 10 with many '60s-70s winters & Jan-Feb 2010
