I have been asked on two different networks and by two different male hosts today whether abortion rights are as important to women as the economy. I can't say it more clearly: reproductive freedom is economic freedom. They are intrinsically intwined, as every woman knows.

@TheRealDoctorT I remember this thread from 4 years ago. I was laying in bed, once again, next to my son who was hospitalized again for complications from chemo. It was one of the first things that allowed me to finally cry. Never stop writing- you speak to me as a doctor, a caregiver & patient

💔 #ChildhoodCancer 💔 Seeing your Child sedated & unable to move while connected to 14 different IV drips is reality. Hearing the screaming of Children going thru their radiation on your floor is reality. Hearing about infections & side effects from chemo is reality. For the survivors, secondary diseases, long-term health issues & PTSD is reality. For others, like us, the pain of knowing that so much life was lost is reality.

@uvahealthnews What weekend? My son is a 3x leukemia survivor and 2nd kid to get CART at UVA. He would love to see it since he watched that tower being built while hospitalized repeatedly.
