Causes of the lack of understanding of the correlation between mental and physical health are multidimensional. One is the stigma associated with mental health. People are more willing to seek help for physical ailments and not mental ones. We must #BreakTheStigma! #EM203Robin

Someone with a disability knows when you treat/speak to them differently. They want/NEED to be treated as if their barrier isnt there. We need to create awareness and make disability common place!
@EM203FKolar You raise a very valid point about internal motivation!! I can relate to that feeling, and was very interested in learning a soduku puzzle through lesson 4, where I experienced similar motivation and gave the task my undivided attention #Em203robin
@EM203EBrunelle Can you imagine not using technology in the classroom now? Even when it comes to simply using a laptop to take notes or watching a PowerPoint on a projector, it seems as though it would be impossible if technology were to be taken out of the classroom! #EM203ROBIN
So far in the course i've learned that technology is something we can use to excel our learning and be much more efficient. Technology is a great resource and will only continue to evolve as time goes on. #EM203Robin

In week 3, I was especially surprised to learn that although multitasking seems achievable, since I have grown up in the age of the internet, research does not in fact support benefits of multitasking in an academic setting #EM203Robin
The first 3 weeks of EM203 have been unlike any other class I have taken so far. The interactive learning through the use of twitter and discussion posts allows me to connect with other classmates and truly enhances my learning experience #EM203Robin
