We'd like to share some news about future updates to the card dex in #PokemonTCGPocket.
Thank you again to everyone for being part of this community and sharing your thoughts. 🙏
@andrewshi910@bobasfk@HSTopDecks 100, I believe (as with most things in Hearthstone - 100 hero health, 100 cards in deck, 100 turns...) at least, that's what it used to be

@MarkAntonyRS@AndrewCGower Welcome to MMO expansions. It's typical to effectively reset with each zone, but it feels a lot better if you at least get to keep your big numbers
@AndrewCGower Besides the skill tree, what's fundamentally changing? Everything we do is still going to be identical. 500 levels in each zone, you're capped to the lowest level enemy in each zone when you start (no diff to being level 0 again). Is it just meant to trick people?
Plan to merge the combat professions
We are planning on changing how combat progression works. There will be single combat profession shared across all episodes, and we are going to introduce combat 'upgrade trees'.

@AndrewCGower@Sh0wYaH0wda Given the issues with the progression scaling, ie, untenably slow, the only feasible way to experience high-level content is to macro low-level content. I'm sure the progression will fill out as the game evolves though
@Sh0wYaH0wda With this game players have no need to macro as there is a legitimate way to progress and gain levels whilst logged out (passive activities). Macroing is only used to try and game the leaderboards.
Just a reminder that using a macro to play Brighter Shores is against the rules and will result in the account being permenantly disqualified from the leaderboards and trading. This is necessary to keep the leaderboards fair.
It is quite easy for us to detect. The team has been applying the penalties for this yesterday and today.
They have just finished triple checking them all to make sure no mistakes were made. They did reverse a handful based on improved analysis and we VERY confident all the accounts which still have penalties were definitely using a macro.
@AndrewCGower@DylanBowen26875 Oh I love this idea. I'd love to make an alternate ironman macro-enabled account as a second, very different, way to experience the game
By popular demand I am currently in the progress of adding more keybinds. Should be ready soon. Let the arguments about what the default keybinds should be commence! :P
@AndrewCGower Tbh, starting an MMO without a direct player economy feels like kind of a fun way to do it. Definitely need one long term, but there's something cool about everyone being ironman for a bit.
I was hoping to have p2p trading ready for launch on 6th November, but it looks like it wont quite be ready in time. Will probably be one of the first feature updates after launch though. Everything else is still on track.
@AndrewCGower Optional is good. Optional, like with some specific content/rewards requiring pvp? Or optional, like with some servers/realms/etc being pvp and others not?
For me, having "optional" pvp shroud content (a la Albion or the wilderness skilling methods) is a great frustration.
Yes, Brighter Shores will have (optional) PvP. It has been something I have had in mind since day 1, and been thinking about for years, and I have come up with some good ideas for how to make it work well.
For a feature this important I want to take the time to get it exactly right, so it probably won’t quite be ready at launch, but will be a very high priority feature to finish soon after launch.
Yes I know it's Q3. But that still gives us until the end of Sept until we are late. 😅 We are all working very hard on getting Brighter Shores finished. Here is a picture of a small part of the detective profession I have been working on this week. Can you work out who did it?
Progress update: We are still on track for a Q3 release of Brighter Shores. Hoping to finish implementing episode 3 in the next couple of weeks. Then we only have episode 4 to finish off before launch (and episode 4 is already well into production).
@winaero Sorry, didn't see an official requests mechanism -- have you considered adding "[un]mark drives as removable" as a feature? Official support article points to a registry key: support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/in…
