Less than 2 weeks since we released early access and we are observing a massive uptick in new mods and user adaptation this weekend! Finished my review. Since the post is relatively technical and example-driven rather than showing off big worlds, we’re making a few changes to add clearer, more illustrative screenshots to avoid confusion. People are expecting some insane screenshots with a crazy, perfect world. This is more about the technical achievement and who can use it.

I feel like I have to temper expectations after seeing some comments! The World Gen V2 blog will focus mainly on the generation tech, tools and prototype examples to showcase what it can do and how. There isn’t much finished Orbis world content for it yet, so don't expect major screenshots/clips of the actual world! We only had time to make a few biomes, all of which are unfinished. The good news is that it's designed to enable much faster content creation while giving us greater control. There will be a lot of screenshots, clips and text. If you only look at the visuals, you will not understand the scope of why this is a big step. To the untrained eye, it won't seem like a big deal. However, for those "who get it", it will be. I added my personal note at the end of the blogpost so that people can understand better.

@emaxoso @Hytale There is no marketplace; you use your own stores. At least that's the plan for early access. We do not want to micro-manage server owners, but that also means you need to offer customer support and other services to your players!

@nadallx0 These were old branches we had to triage and consolidate. I called it the "singularity event". We had to get to a point where we have all the prototypes and features in a single branch so that all work off the same codebase and avoid merge issues.
