@airtelindia what’s the deal? I cant make payments using my UPI with my bank. It allows me to use it only with Airtel Payments UPI.. why this needless compulsion for the customer just so you can acquire users on your bank platform

Achar comes from Persian, where it can mean immersed in salt or vinegar. Indian languages usually emphasise the idea of salting: see ‘uppinkayi’ or ‘uppilittadhu’. Pickle also comes from an older European word for brine. Salt is the alpha and omega of flavour. The rest is frill.
