At the 8th European Political Community Summit in 🇦🇲, joined a roundtable on “Connectivity & Economic Security in the Green Transition.” I emphasized Georgia’s strategic role as a reliable bridge between Europe and Asia and highlighted the importance of connectivity for economic security and long-term stability.

Condemning the attempted attack in Washington in the strongest terms. Thankful that the President @POTUS , First Lady @FLOTUS , and everyone present are safe.

Honored to participate in the #DelphiEconomicForum and speak on the panel: “The Shield of #Enlargement: #Security as the New Accession Pillar.” When we talk about #European security, we must avoid dividing #Europe into the #EU and those outside it as it affects all of us.

Georgia assumes the Chairmanship of the #OSCE Forum for Security Co-operation (FSC) with a clear commitment: to strengthen #dialogue, rebuild #trust & uphold @OSCE principles amid a challenging security environment. #FSC2026GEO

Georgia welcomes the announced ceasefire between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran and commends the effective mediation efforts that facilitated it. We hope this step will contribute to de-escalation and encourage continued diplomatic engagement to secure lasting peace and stability in the region.

🇦🇷🇬🇪 Relación Georgia–Argentina y agenda estratégica internacional. José Guillermo Godoy, presidente de la Fundación Federalismo y Libertad, y Jazmín Eudal, coordinadora del programa internacional de FyL, mantuvieron un encuentro con el Embajador de Georgia en la Argentina, Gvaram Khandamishvili, y la ministra consejera Tamar Lomadze. Durante la reunión, dialogaron sobre la relevancia estratégica del Cáucaso en el escenario internacional, el fortalecimiento de la relación entre Georgia y Argentina, y la posibilidad de una visita institucional a Tucumán, así como la participación del Embajador en futuras actividades y foros de la Fundación.

We advise Georgian citizens to follow the official guidance and take all necessary precautions to ensure their safety. Our embassies in the region remain fully operational and ready to assist Georgian citizens as needed.

We are closely following developments in Venezuela with the hope that future processes will unfold in line with the best interests of the Venezuelan people. Given that the Venezuelan authorities recognized Georgia’s occupied regions, Abkhazia and the so-called South Ossetia, as independent states in gross violation of international law, we express hope that recent developments will lead to the reversal of this unlawful decision, in line with Georgia’s national interests and international legal principles.
