Pharmacist: How is shift diff structure at your institution? Do you receive a percentage of your pay, or a flat rate? What is that rate? Do evening and nights receive the same amount of shift diff? Any extra shift diff for weekends?

@mefren_reborn I am in Ohio. My understanding is that our salaries our very low when compared to most health system pharmacists. Out of my pgy2 my initial offer was ~$51 /hr. We have so many people reject our open positions due to pay.

A patient comes in as a trauma alert after sustaining a head injury via fall. His GCS is 7 and he is intubated with etomidate/rocuronium. CT head w/ lg SDH. Neurosurg is STAT paged and needs to assess the patient. Should sugammadex be given to facilitate prompt neuro exam?

New life fear..Having a dental instrument dropped in my mouth and swallowing/aspirating it. I’ve had two patients roll thorough the ED because of this in way too short of a time period. This must happen way more often than I would have liked to believe. 😳🦷🪥
