Obsessing over lifestyle is gay as fuck. Influencers will post pictures of Ralph Lauren clothes, going to the gym, building some online business, and then they’ll act superior to everyone around them. There is no depth or real philosophy behind it. It’s just aesthetics and fake status to satisfy the ego. They think they’ve escaped the matrix, but they just moved into another one. If you can't drop the perfect lifestyle tommorow; the clothes, the food, the beauty, you’ve already lost the point. Then you've become the Devil’s bitch without noticing. "The things you own end up owning you," ~ Tyler Durden The truth is that real men need adventure and scary situations where they can serve God. Not the perfect aesthetic lifestyle. We need challenges that leave us dirty and James Bond is a good example of this. He isn’t great because of his suits. He's great because he walks into danger wearing them. Chasing the perfect lifestyle without making your hands dirty is the most spiritually lesbian thing you can do on this planet. Everything in life is a tool to serve you, and the real value is hidden in hard work. Watch Fight Club. Study the books of Samuel. Kill your pride and sink deep enough so you can rise again.

How to lock in 1-1: - nicotine - caffeine - niche house music - written down list of what needs to get done - dopamine detox before work -comfortable environment Use this at your own risk, this combo might get you further than a degree

These people were not skinny they were lean and athletic with good muscle tone, bone structure, and posture. They don’t really exist anymore due to modern food and weightlifting trends so people now are either very muscular, very skinny, or fat. This is normal and healthy.

@mrwittmayer If you ever watch old film reels a lot of the men seem to be incredibly skinny by modern standards This has led me to believe that being "twinkish" is actually the more normal and natural way for a man to be. Thoughts?

This week I turned 23 and these are some things I've found out along the way: > Eat more Tiramisu > Read and study the Bible. > Get a solid espresso machine. > Never stop searching for truth > Don't get trapped in a religious mindset. > Eat real food and workout 4 times a week. > Invest in a nice watch and quality clothing. > Stop seeking validation from other people. > Pray daily. Ask for guidance. Have faith in God. > Learn how to protect yourself, try taking fighting lessons for a year straight. > Go on adventures with friends. Hiking, camping, whatever you like, and do it regularly. > Food is meant to connect people, so eat with others every week. > If you find yourself stuck in a situation, do a 180 and moonwalk away. > Buy the best phone and laptop you can afford, use them until they break, then buy the best again. > Don't attach too much value to the things you own, or they will end up owning you.

I’m 5’7. Never bothered me. But today I realized that my son will never be built like a brick shit house. That makes me sad.

My friends and family have started calling me fish boy/sardine boy/fish lover and im not sure how I feel about it. Onward i guess. Nectarines and stone fruits starting to get ripe. Start throwing em in the rotation. Keep drinking coffee. Coconut water still incredible. Have you ever had capers? You should. Everyone should get a girlfriend so they can have a weekly loaf of sourdough. Monday, homies.

@sahill_og Read some stories from the new testament or read fiction you like. All self-help books can be summarized in a couple pages. Not worth your time.

Why the f*ck are you reading the same books as everyone else? The Count of Monte Cristo, The Brothers Karamazov, The Odyssey. Always the books that are on everyone's top 10 list. Yes, they’re great books and reading the classics matters. But if you only consume what the algorithm recommends, you'll slowly lose the ability to forge your own taste. You end up adopting other peoples opinion and become like everyone else, losing your own authenticity. Besides that, you’ll notice that many books remain unfinished because you were never genuinely interested in them to begin with. Instead of becoming an NPC, this is what you can do to read better books and become more authentic: Get off your phone and go for a walk. Think about the things that excite you and made you lose track of time as a kid. Go to an AI model and send it your interest. Then ask it to send 10 book recommendations (but instruct it to only send you the book descriptions without showing you the titles or covers). Read the descriptions and see which one excites you the most. Pick that one, buy it and start reading it. Over time, you’ll develop taste that is actually yours. You’ll finish books in no time and get better at thinking for yourself, instead of adopting the opinions of others. Thank me later.
