Today my kid used these phrases: "half cut dreams" and "shrink the stars."
I rightly asked, "Are you going to become a writer when you grow up?"
"No," my child said. "I'm going to be something more talentive."
Then I learned that "talentive" means "fun" and honestly no notes.
