@_krogg I was at the end of my tether about 5 years ago and I invested in Liz Earle. Completely cleared my skin up. You can get little trial kits or they’ll do you a facial for free in John Lewis x

Is it worth spending lots on Elemis skin care when you’re losing the will to live with your skin??? Advice welcome 💕

Page 42 and the exposition is endless (though beautifully written) - tell me to stick with it, please.

@MrsMFteach @Team_English1 @LitdriveUK Have taught both. Definitely Edexcel. So much better in terms of support resources and exam format/question structure really clear

@christteach @TeacherBusy ‘Grief porn’ is absolutely spot on. That’s how it felt and I was just wanted it to be over. Most drawn out book I have ever read.

@TeacherBusy I've got dog's abuse for this take before but whilst beautifully written, this book is grief porn. Leans into the most terrible, terrible situations too much. Come across as cheap.

Time to close the laptop. Thinking about our Dept review and how much it is such a good thing. Depts choose focus - lesson visits, meetings, discussions, looking through work, pupil voice. Not in a judgmental way but focused on TL and how we get better. Loving being part of it.

Stunning and devastating opening from Newsnight tonight. Harsh, yes. Media students (and current broadcast journalists!) take note: your edit is nothing without the right choice of music. And oh boy this is quite the choice.

Tragic news The latest @CornwallInsight prediction, based on Ofgem's new methodology, is an 81% price cap rise in Oct (taking typical bill to £3,582/yr) and a further 19% in Jan (so £4,266/yr) Action & planning is needed now. The zombie govt needs wake up sooner than 5 Sept...
