@charise_lee Mad disrespect to the prehospital personnel here. Paramedicine and the technology that support it has improved drastically over the last 25 years. Higher level of care is better, but call 911 instead of taking them to the hospital by car.

@Twolfrecovery I mean…. If you don’t, then they are there anyways WITH drugs and NO shelter. It will by no means end addiction in the individual. However, it would be the start of framework of which you could provide opportunities for wraparound services.

@Twolfrecovery No. NO ONE gets sober because they have to. Forced abstinence does not constitute recovery. Now for drug induced psychosis? Yes. If someone is not oriented to person, place, time, and event, they are unable to make their own decisions. To leave them on the street is neglect.
