@wisconsin_now @SenRonJohnson is distinct from Trump and already beat Barnes. What I love about Johnson is he really listens and connects with the humanity of a person - then lays out market realities from a helpful perspective. Would love to see Tiffany tag along at Johnson appearances.

The Marquette poll was largely good for Tom Tiffany. He needs to carve out a political identity distinct from Trump. The poll showed most voters aren’t thrilled with Iran, the economy, and tariffs. But they like Tiffany more than the Democrat candidates and the Democrat Party is wildly unpopular. Tiffany is the only candidate with net positive favorability rating. His authentic rural demeanor seems to be appealing to people. Furthermore, the only two Democrat candidates registering at all would be easiest for Tiffany to beat; the Democrat Party has been thrown into chaos by its hard left base. Barnes might still be coasting on residual name ID, but Hong is developing a following on the left, and it’s growing, albeit slowly. Of course, few people know who any of them are. Overall, this poll was positive for Tiffany and gives him a pathway to win if he plays his cards right. Look for Dem leaders to put massive pressure on most candidates to drop out so that the non-Hong and non-Barnes voters can unite around one person… but who? No one has a strong argument with these numbers. Barnes and Hong seem too stubborn to drop out, and they’re in the lead, so why would they? Completely hilarious.
