And with that, the final hurdle for passage of the world’s first #CarbonBorderTax has passed. The 🇪🇺Council, the EU legislature’s upper chamber, has rubber-stamped the deal reached with lower chamber 🇪🇺Parliament. Poland voted against, Bulgaria & Belgium abstained.
