Such a transition (remove/airway mgmnt) would be more dangerous for crew (if they are not in PPE). Also curious re effects on pulmonary physiology [eg, NEEP] on patient. This seems ok (maybe) in “stable” transports/select population. My 2cents.

Do pts in neg pressure hosp rooms experience NEEP at alveolar level?

There is an N-95 rated half mask with comms in it, but it has the same issue with all PPE. Its hot and uncomfortable.
