@SleeperJets Favorite- Bailey, best non QB at the most premium position. Least-Sadiq, we took a TE in the second round last year. 2 years of a high pick on a non premium position where value can often be found in FA or mid rounds.

If you’re willing to break the record for guaranteed money to a running back, you don’t need to draft one at all. You can just sign an elite back in free agency and use that extremely valuable pick on a position that saves you money. Cardinals get the biggest F- draft grade ever

Pretty hard to get mad about adding dynamic pass catchers to your offense x2 and an edge rusher coming off a 14.5 sack season when you really think about it

Lots of intriguing CB prospects still available for the Jets tonight--several of whom had 1st round grades. That's the target. A few safeties, too. Defense all the way.

@ZackBlatt You can't really be upset but positional value and the fact we spent a 2nd last season is a bit of a head scratcher.

The Jets collection of skill position players around Geno Smith: RB Breece Hall RB Braelon Allen RB Isaiah Davis WR Garrett Wilson WR Adonai Mitchell WR Omar Cooper TE Kenyon Sadiq TE Mason Taylor That plus what looks like a solid offensive line. I know some Jets fans weren't thrilled with the Sadiq pick, but adding him combined with Cooper and you have the making of a fun collection of versatile, athletic weapons (on paper) — and a group that is almost entirely under contract for 2027 when they'll drop a new QB into the mix.

The Rams are *so* close to a Super Bowl. Could have added a player who can help them get there. Instead, they reach on a QB that will sit for a year at 13? Ty Simpson is the worst pick of the 1st round.

@Playlikeajet1 Not a huge fan of TE in round 1, but happy with Bailey and Cooper. Hopefully Sadiq goes crazy.

Overall, less than thrilled with what #Jets did. Not going to freak out, though, bc we should see how Bailey & Sadiq perform before we lose our minds. Tomorrow will be interesting. Should be a lot of very talented players still available & plenty of trade down possibilities, too.
