Scream 7 has great kills, strong performances, a couple twists that I didn’t see coming and an amazing Autumn feel and look that I love. Scream 5 might objectively be better than 7 but Melissa Barrera’s lead performance drags it down. Scream 3 is plagued with problems, but I still like it a lot because it tackles Hollywood itself. Scream 2 is easily my weakest scream film yet it’s still a good film. I hate Mrs. Loomis as the killer, killing Randy was a mistake, the whole movie is just Scream 1 again but bigger and the Jerry O’Connell singing scene is the worst scene in the entire franchise.

Melissa Barrera is genuinely horrible in Scream 5 and it’s honestly a miracle that she was as good as she was in Scream 6.
