Bez previše buzzword izraza, konkretni i lako razumljivi primeri youtu.be/eA9Zf2-qYYM?si…

@Thomasbcn I changed my mind about this as well. Primarily because I think it could work at some scale for competitor keywords, which otherwise male very little sense (high cost, low relevance).

I intially said it when the first rumor of a 2nd ad placement emerged: Apple Ads #2 will be a nothingburger.
Some factors made me rethink this position...
Now that it's live, early thought is that it will be marginal for most. A tiny help for some. Not even a billion for Apple

@BrooksSolveig @moxon @benblumenrose @notion @linear @stripepress @BuildWithFlux Damn, the patches are SOOOO cool!

What’s the most impressive company merch you’ve seen over the past couple of years? e.g. the @notion chore coat, @linear employee gift, @stripepress books...

@MartinShkreli @nikitabier for context ElevenReader doesn't work for the articles on X
English

@MartinShkreli @nikitabier given the proliferation of long-form content (like this one), it'd be really cool to have an xReader, at least as a premium feature. I can't keep up otherwise, need someone to read these to me haha

@voisine @JoshConstine @pitdesi 3bd for $5000 a month is not an option anymore, not in nicer areas.
But, I agree there are workarounds if you are willing to sacrifice.
Lots of people bring their parents to live with them etc etc. It is still hard though.
English

@eniac @JoshConstine @pitdesi Rent a 3bd for $5000/mo and get a stay at home wife and if you can’t afford private, then home school.

Mind-boggling:
We made it so expensive to live in SF that we have to subsidize childcare for people making 95th percentile US income.
Due to poor program design, families making 96th %ile income get NO support and choose 0/1 kids because they can't afford more.
And I get it!
The San Francisco Standard@sfstandard
SF families earning between $310,000 and $400,000 say they occupy a specific, uncomfortable middle ground: too rich for child-care subsidies, yet too squeezed to have another kid. 📝: @stbearman sfstandard.com/2026/03/15/wea…

@naval It's more about making the first podcast episode, as most don't stop at one.

It’s almost impossible to explain this to anyone outside SF.
If you want to raise 3 kids in San Francisco, you likely need:
• A house (~$2.5M+, since large condos are rare)
• Private school
• At least one nanny (for above-mentioned reasons)
Just those three things cost roughly:
• $16k/mo — house + property tax
• $10k/mo — school for 3 kids
• $4k/mo — nanny
That’s $30k/month, or about $600k in pre-tax income — before food, insurance, cars, travel, or anything else which is completely insane...
English

Love SF. Never want to leave. But my wife and I both work in VC and still don’t see how we could afford a third kid. Biggest culprits:
-Schools and summer camps that end mid-day, requiring both tuition and a nanny
-Even the top SF public schools were dilapidated, understaffed, with very limited STEM or anti-bullying programs, pushing parents to private school or leaving the city
-Housing of course is expensive, but so much so that an extra room for an au pair is unaffordable, and caretakers either live too far away for flexible use or charge crazy $50+/hr prices if they’re nearby

@chrisalbon He clarified he didn't think of Ridge wallets but Ridge wine
