We used to do that, up until a court case called Griggs v. Duke Power made it illegal. Fun fact: that's when college degrees started being mandatory for white collar jobs. Companies stopped being allowed to filter out retards with a test, so now every single person in the country has to pay tens of thousands of dollars and spend four years doing pointless bullshit so they can get a piece of paper that for the vast majority serves no purpose apart from indicating that they aren't a complete idiot

The debt pin was a great Massie gimmick. It's not war or Israel that got us here. ~85% of US gov't spending is social welfare. The left will never, ever work with libertarians to fix this. Libertarians who think they can cooperate or work with the left are getting played.

The economic illiteracy is incredible. Maxists usually admit businesses need rent, equipment, maintenance, insurance, logistics, storage, utilities, and replacement costs. But the second you mention profit they act like you've invoked Satan. So congratulations, you just abolished the incentive for innovation, expansion, investment, and risk taking. Why would anyone build a factory, invent a product, expand operations, or risk bankruptcy if the reward for succeeding is being morally condemned for making more than they spent? At that point you're not getting some stable worker paradise. You're getting slow decay as businesses stop growing, stop improving, stop risking capital, and eventually stop existing. Profit isn't some glitch in production. It's the signal that value was created efficiently enough to sustain and expand production in the first place. Marxists talk about businesses like they magically appear from the sky fully equipped and self sustaining.

@PalmyrPar well yeah, bc in the past they shipped hardware & it p much flopped Steam Deck was a big success compared to what’s before it, which was the Index and 1st gen Steam Machines, if you compare the Deck to its market it’s a rather moderate success that merely got their ball rolling

Someone should pay for protesters to be at every one of Platner's campaign rallies, have signs showing his Nazi tattoo along with proof of it being a Nazi symbol, chant things against Nazism and fascism, and ask all the attendees why they support Nazism and fascism. It can accomplish multiple things. 1) It would both bring that to the attention of all his Leftist supporters - and if they were true Leftists then they'd get all flustered over supporting a Nazi/fascist candidate. 2) It would bring a lot more media attention highlighting that he is a Nazi/fascist candidate. 3) If done properly, the two of those would result in a blow for Democrats since them having a Nazi candidate would become an even bigger scandal that they'd have to start dealing with.

Communism is essentially a convoluted, pseudoscientific way for people to justify stealing from others and murdering them if they resist.
