Yes, existed and had nothing to do with Pakistan. Again, there's nothing called 'ancient Pakistan'. When you live in a state formed in 1948 exclusively on religious base you can not claim roots older not only of your state but of your own religion too

The idea that Pakistan was simply "given" by Indians to Muslims isn't historically accurate. Partition didn't happen because one side generously handed over land to the other.
It occurred after decades of political conflict, negotiations, demands and communal tensions involving multiple groups and leaders. The regions that became Pakistan already had large Muslim populations and partition was the outcome of a political movement. Stop making it look like an act of charity or ownership.
All the conflicts aside, history shouldn't be judged through the lens of bias because of the issues between two countries.
As for the "original religion" argument, Islam is the original faith of humanity, including the Indian subcontinent.
