This was the last text I ever received from my 34 year old Son, Edward. It was exactly a year ago today. Within hours he was gone. He decided he wasn't "OK" and he took his own life just after midnight. He was fighting on many fronts- Relationship problems, financial worry and issues with self esteem. I think about him 100 times a day. I'd do anything to get him back, even if it was just for 5 minutes. I'd say all the things to him that I didn't say when I had the opportunity. It's too late now. Please take care of your loved ones. Watch over them. Many are struggling. Many are thinking dark thoughts. Many will take the decision to end their own suffering. They need help and understanding. They probably won't get it from the "system" so it may be up to you. Give someone a call today to ask how they're doing. Tell them Edward suggested it.

People have learned a few psychological buzzwords on social media,like "gaslighting," "narcissist," "boundaries," and "toxic", and now they use them to run away from normal human conflict. Sometimes your partner isn't a "toxic narcissist violating your boundaries"; sometimes they are just annoyed, having a bad day, and you are actually the one who was wrong. Men aren’t built this way and the sooner these women accept it the better. As the wife you should be the planner and in charge of most errands. If that’s too much mentally for you because you also work a full time job maybe you should admit something about female nature and gender dynamics instead of trying to force a man into the same role as you. If I stay home and raise my own children I am a loser and not ambitious But if I hire and pay another woman to raise and take care of my children for me than I am an empowered woman If that same woman stayed home with her children she would be a loser But if she takes care of my children she is not If we both switched and raised each others children for a paycheck we would be successful ambitious girl bosses But if we do it for our own children we are losers
