@stephenjmcd Are they going to play anyone else in Spain? The training camp starts on May 7th, so it’s a long enough stretch.
English

@KillianM2 Stephen Bradley would have an almighty meltdown, being away to Waterford on Friday. 3 Rovers were in the 4 listed, if the list was even legit?
English

@JonesyKeith123 Does the winner want to remain anonymous then ?
English

Afternoon all, I have been in touch with the winner who is over the moon and can’t wait. Thanks everyone for getting involved! If you are going with a ticket or without, enjoy the whole trip. The country hasn’t been together around the team like this in years. COYBIG💚 Keith.

Good afternoon to one and all! I have teamed up with @rte and @CadburyIreland to give 2 lucky fans the chance to win the trip of a lifetime to Prague next week for @IrelandFootball WC Play-Off Semi Final vs Czechia. To enter, like retweet and follow. Best of luck! Cheers, Keith.

@DublinAirport @thfcalfie_ Typo? Surely you mean you pawned him? For a measly €4m 🤦🏻♂️
English

@thfcalfie_ I think you’ll find he was homegrown here in Dublin
English

@cfcire The incredible thing about Troy’s comments at the start of this video is that it was recorded BEFORE the Portugal & Hungary double header! Elite mentality 👏
English

A bit of artistic licence here as Roy was sat beside me throughout.
Rusty B 🎭@RustyBComedian
A dramatised view of Roy Keane’s exit from the 2002 World Cup. Keane tore into Mick McCarthy - slamming his management, questioning his competence and even taking aim at his character. Raw, brutal and completely unfiltered. Explosive stuff 🤯

@JonesyKeith123 @rte @CadburyIreland @IrelandFootball 😂You’re some boyo

@KillianM2 Hang on a second, that last one is not an Apres Match ad! I was fully sure watching the first few seconds it was and that Barry Murphy wearing a wig😅
English

@leblxn @reptracker It definitely qualifies for “serious foul play” though. Carries a 3 game ban

It’s been a really difficult couple of months for Chiedozie Ogbene.
The Irish international missed a significant spell with the hamstring injury he picked up against Hungary back in November, and just as it looked like he was ready to kick on again - scoring in his first game back but he’s since been left out of the matchday squad for the last two fixtures.
That absence hasn’t been down to form or fitness, but rather the EFL’s matchday rule that allows only five loan players in a squad. Ogbene has been the unfortunate one to miss out in recent weeks because of that restriction.
However, there may be a bit of luck turning in his favour. A straight red for Kalvin Phillips in the Steel City derby means he’ll be suspended for the next three games, opening up space for another loanee to come back into the squad - something that should give Ogbene a strong chance of returning to the matchday panel.
Hopefully he gets that opportunity and can pick up where he left off.

@belgian_rissc @IrelandSLO Ah, I’m only on 5 by that list. Thanks

Unsuccessful applicants should also have an email. If you believe you have more than 5 and have been unsuccessful you can email customer-relations@fai.ie. You should be able to see your invoices on the away portal.
English

@JamesWi886 @80s90sfootball He should have been at that WC, granted not a starter. Charlton brought the most lopsided squad. It had 7 strikers! A couple of them never should have been in. Imagine Brady coming on in that 1/4 final? Italians were already shitting it that would have seen blood drain from them
English

@80s90sfootball Saw him playing for West Ham v Charlton in the FA Cup in 89 at Selhurst Park. Hammers were struggling in the league but nicked it, Brady still had real quality in his left peg but had lost a yard.
Still an excellent player though, he deserved a WCF but Italia 90 was just too late
English

@Pickles_01 @RickyPruitt19 @AZAlkmaar All I can think of is from original cross field pass there was a player who was in an offside position that impeded an Ajax defender from challenging for the assisted header. That’s very flakey though
English

@RickyPruitt19 @AZAlkmaar Honestly how was that offside 😂 got Troy parrott to score and AZ to score 2
English

⚽️ 52. GOOAAALL!!
🔥 Na een ingooi van Alexandre Penetra schiet Wouter Goes zijn ploeg op voorsprong!

@IanMcgrane8 @LansdowneRD_IE He literally did. Both associations sent him a letter requesting him to play in the B international at Turners cross. He chose Ireland to make his Irish Mammy proud
English

@BassfordDan @jordyinit I’ve just remembered it wasn’t the Goldstone! It was the Withdean with the running track🤣
English

@eobyrne @jordyinit They let you redevelop the East Stand? The residents of Goldstone Lane would never have stood for that!
