First saw @bluemangroup in Vegas at the age of 13. Today, 20 years later, I saw them again at @captheatres in Edinburgh. Every bit as bizarre and funny and artistic and musical and amazing as I remembered!

Welcome to @ABZ_Airport - queue of 40-50 people at taxi rank & no taxis. Really poor welcome to the city. Never experienced anything like it anywhere else in the world. If Aberdeen wants to take tourism seriously, this needs to be sorted out. @visitabdn @AberdeenCC

@drl @ABZ_Airport @visitabdn @AberdeenCC Apparently there are only 35 taxis registered as official airport taxis, which means they're the only ones allowed to pick up passengers. And obviously they won't all be on at the same time...

@eoinsmith @ABZ_Airport @visitabdn @AberdeenCC Last time I tried to get a taxi in town it wasn’t particularly easy either, so not sure if it’s an airport thing, a taxi thing, or a bit of both.

@drl @ABZ_Airport @visitabdn @AberdeenCC Probably a bit of both. Uber will (hopefully) provide relief, but the barriers put in place by a council bowing down to taxi company pressure make me doubt it'll ever arrive in the city.

@eoinsmith @ABZ_Airport @visitabdn @AberdeenCC Yup. Last time I flew into Aberdeen I waited 45 minutes and ended up getting a bus at 10pm at night. Took about 3 hours to get home! this time I needed to get home from London I took the sleeper train as that was preferable to that again at the airport!

We're putting the next tour together and it's time for me, once again, to ask you to suggest venues. On this current tour there are (I think) fifteen shows that came from tweets like this. Ideally UK but I do sometimes do mad things. Let's go!

So inspired was I by @Lenniesaurus and @Shane_Strachan last night that, this morning, for the first time in over a decade, I decided not to start writing a short story but to start on a poem. Excited to see where this goes!

Absolute comedy masterclass by @MrNishKumar tonight in Aberdeen. Rarely do I shake with laughter and anger at the world at the same time, but tonight I did just that.

@RoyalMailHelp I am once again having issues with deliveries. 'Missed delivery' note through door on 23/8 despite me being in. Rearranged delivery for today (29/8) - checked online and it says I missed the delivery. Been here all day, no note through door, no doorbell rung.

And now just found out this is all because they tried to deliver to the wrong address - it was my neighbour who put the missed delivery card through my door after it was wrongly delivered to her.

Appalling service from @RoyalMailHelp today. Was in all day, to then discover a note through the door saying I wasn't. 4 parcels - 3 of which had high costs for next day delivery. And of course we can't complain through the website as we are not the sender. What a joke.
