IT'S OFFICIAL: The entire world knows that Iran has FORTY EIGHT hours at most to comply and allow the Strait of Hormuz to be reopened SAFELY. For all those LIED about Trump being scared of market fluctuations, what do they have to say now? Does this announcement sound like he's owned by big oil? Not to me. Sounds like he's prepared, composed, and ready to deliver the final beat down on the regime that declared war on America decades ago. This puts them back in the bullseye, but the U.S. Military is right there with them, ready. They should trust that their destruction would be immediate and it would be wise to refrain from TOUCHING ANYONE'S SHIPS FOR F*CKS SAKE. Trump just threatened to bomb all of Iran's power plants if Iran doesn't open the Straits within 48h. We know Iran will not comply with this threat. If Trump follows through on his threats, Tehran will likely strike at energy facilities throughout the Persian Gulf as well as in Israel. By now, it is really foolish to think it won't. An already bad situation will worsen with rising oil and gas prices, higher grocery costs in the US, and the closure of most remaining exit ramps. Escalation only intensifies the lose-lose scenario. Both sides need to get serious about off-ramps. Neither side should seek the humiliation of the other. Neither side can force the other's surrender. Both have to be able to construct a convincing narrative of victory for their own audiences. They may not realize it yet, but both the US and Iran ultimately have a common interest in such an exit.

Striking civilian electrical infrastructure is a war crime. The President is threatening war crimes because of an oil price. Congress must impeach, or the cabinet must invoke the 25th amendment. This is unacceptable and outside of the authority of the President.
