Divorce rate: 🇮🇳India: 1% 🇻🇳Vietnam: 7% 🇹🇯Tajikistan: 10% 🇮🇷Iran: 14% 🇲🇽Mexico: 17% 🇪🇬Egypt: 17% 🇿🇦South Africa: 17% 🇧🇷Brazil: 21% 🇹🇷Turkey: 25% 🇨🇴Colombia: 30% 🇵🇱Poland: 33% 🇯🇵Japan: 35% 🇩🇪Germany: 38% 🇬🇧United Kingdom: 41% 🇳🇿New Zealand: 41% 🇦🇺Australia: 43% 🇨🇳China: 44% 🇺🇸United States: 45% 🇰🇷South Korea: 46% 🇩🇰Denmark: 46% 🇮🇹Italy: 46% 🇨🇦Canada: 47% 🇳🇱Netherlands: 48% 🇸🇪Sweden: 50% 🇨🇵France: 51% 🇧🇪Belgium: 53% 🇫🇮Finland: 55% 🇨🇺Cuba: 55% 🇺🇦Ukraine: 70% 🇷🇺Russia: 73% 🇱🇺Luxembourg: 79% 🇪🇦Spain: 85% 🇵🇹Portugal: 94% Note: This compares the number of divorces in a given year to the number of marriages in that same year (the ratio of the crude divorce rate to the crude marriage rate). For example, if there are 500 divorces and 1,000 marriages in a given year in a given area, the ratio would be one divorce for every two marriages, e.g. a ratio of 0.50 (50%). Data is from last available year by country. As an example Portugal data is from 2020, Germany is from 2017.

I think top 3 safest crimes to do in India right now are. 1- Kill a man after marrying him. 2- Kill a man before marrying him. 3- Kill a man you don’t want to marry.

@equality232 @th_anonymouse LMAO, what's the percentage of Indian households even have maids? 92% of Indian women do unpaid domestic work as per data.

💔 This one breaks my heart completely. Nagalakshmi, the soul of Sree Sai Silks, was killed in her own home yesterday by her husband Subramanian. He then ended his own life. He had no job, drank a lot, and kept demanding money from her. She was the one running the business, carrying the family, dealing with all the debts and pressure. When she started pushing back and fighting for some peace, things turned deadly. Their 18-year-old son came home from college and walked into the worst sight any child could see, his mother gone, his father hanging from the fan. Their older son, studying medicine in Russia, is rushing back to this shattered world. She was only 41-42, smiling in those Instagram reels, working hard for her boys, trying to hold everything together. Now two young sons are left without their mom and dad. I keep thinking how many families are silently breaking like this, money fights, alcohol, ego… and no one to help before it’s too late. Rest gently, Nagalakshmi. Your smile and your strength touched so many. 🕊️ Sending whatever strength I can to her sons. They shouldn’t have to carry this alone.
