@equipmenttree1 I had planned to publish it during these days, but I recently found out that Shaykh ’Abd al-’Aziz al-Rajihi made a statement in defense of Shaykh Sulayman al-’Alwan, so I’m digging through the archives to add it.

Imam Ahmad bin Hanbal and Imam Ishaq bin Rahuyah went to the prayer-place on Eid, and they were not reciting the Takbirat. Upon being asked about it, they said: “We are aware of the Takbir, but we were preoccupied with wondering which books to begin reading.” Eid Mubarak 🌹🌹

Notice the tactic: - I quote sh ar-Rajihi and make a very specific claim - He spams dozens of comments, asks 3 irrelevant questions, brings Nasir al-Fahd into discussion, quotes me few more times, and then claims I am running away Yes, I tend to run away from BS.

“I didnt claim the view wasnt weak” after debating it for hours 😂 then you talk about attribution to scholars, we asked u which scholars? Answer the 3 questions. Also lets not forget that conversation about Nasir al Fahd, youre an embarrassment quit talking about topics you dont understand. Why are you constantly talking when the opposite party asks you 3 simple questions and you outright refuse to answer?

@_nqbeel @wannabemuhadith He is not alone in his Hakimiyye view , and that Jaami thing was at ghulat madkhalis that think secularists are muslims or helping IDF to rape muslim women and kill muslim children is not kufr and Sh al Luhaidan said Alwans books are in line with scholars x.com/schizopashtun/…
al-Darawardi@SchizoPashtun

Shaykh Salih al-Luhaydan said in 2012: “They presented to me the books of Shaykh Sulayman al-’Alwan, and I did not find in them a single remark where he contradicted the scholars who came before him.”

While I don’t agree with some of shaykh alwan’s takfiri tendencies, it seems wild to me that basically all the major huffadh amongst the hadith scholars in Saudi are in jail. It’s as if they don’t want those who are well versed in ahadith to be out there speaking to people 🤔🤔

@_nqbeel @wannabemuhadith Had Sulayman Alwan been takfiri , he would have not been praised by kibar scholars like Sh al Barrak , Sh al Rajihi , Sh Al Ghunaiman , Sh Abdulkarim al Khudair , Sh Ibn Jibrin and so many more ulema years after his jail time x.com/equipmenttree1…
Abu Moosa@equipmenttree1

@wannabemuhadith akhi may Allah forgive you but this is propaganda about takfir because the kibar ulema like Sh al Barrak said Sulaiman Al Alwan is from scholars of Aqeedah and Sh al Ghunaiman said Al Alwan is a Mujtahid , so the big scholars are aware of his sound aqidah and manhaj

They finally stopped defending seikh ar-Rajihi, because "it doesn't matter". Why doesn't it matter? Because another scholar said something else. What happened to taqleed being haram :(
Jad 🇸🇾@jado375

@Tarrasbulba123 @ameeniooo doesnt matter, Imam Ibn ‘Abd al Barr said those who take 5:44 upon its dhahir are the khawarij lol

The major Sunni scholar Imam al-Sijzi (d. 444 AH) listed these individuals among those who caused more harm to Ahl al-Sunnah than heretical sects like al-Mu’tazilah: • Abu al-Hasan al-Ash’ari • Ibn Kullab • al-Baqillani • Ibn Furak

My post was directed at the Jahmiyyah. If anyone perceives it as an attack on their beliefs, then they fall under that category. I will demonstrate this by quoting the Imams among the Salaf and their students who refuted them: 1/2 First, I want to address his saying: “The problem is when someone untrained attempts to delve into higher sciences” These “higher sciences” refer to their Kalām, through which they distort the verses and arrive at conclusions that any sound mind and uncorrupted fiṭrah would instinctively reject. This arrogant group genuinely believes that the conclusions of their “higher sciences” are some elite, hidden knowledge accessible only to their lofty minds, knowledge that Allah ﷻ and His Messenger ﷺ did not reveal to the lowly, primitive, anthropomorphism-inclined minds of the Muslims, including the Ṣaḥābah. As their scholars have said, such as al-‘izz ibn ‘Abd al-Salām: ❝Especially the view of those who affirm direction [for Allah], for the belief in a being that is neither moving nor still, neither separate from the world nor connected to it, neither inside it nor outside of it (the Jahmi-Ash‘ari god), is not something to which anyone is naturally guided by innate disposition in the usual way. Rather, it can only be reached after examining difficult and subtle proofs, that are hard to understand (“higher sciences”). Because of this difficulty, Allah has excused the general public from it. For this reason, the Prophet ﷺ did not require anyone who entered Islam to investigate such matters; 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝗵𝗲 (ﷺ) 𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘂𝗽𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺.❞ [al-Qawā‘id al-Kubra 1/304] And al-Ghazāli: ❝If it is said: then why did he not remove the veil regarding the Essence of the Divine, and say: that He exists, and is neither a body nor a substance nor an accident; neither inside the world nor outside it; neither connected nor separate; neither in a place nor in a direction…? We say: whoever sees this as the very truth excuses himself by saying that if he (the Prophet ﷺ) were to mention it (the Ash‘ari-Jahmi creed), people would turn away from accepting it and would hasten to reject it, saying: ‘This is outright impossible!’…❞ What their said is what their creed necessitates, as noted by Imam Ibn Qudāmah, who said: ❝The implication of this group’s statement (i.e., the Ash‘ariyyah) is that the Prophet (ﷺ) did not convey the message, that he is [a liar] in his claim of having conveyed it, that his companions are liars in their testimony for him, and that every Muslim who testifies that the Prophet (ﷺ) delivered the message and sincerely advised his community is a liar in his testimony.❞ [al-Burhān Fi Bayān al-Qur’ān p. 42] So, I guess we got the 'lower sciences', the Quran and Sunnah. That are full of Kufr and Anthropomorphism, as their Imam al-Razi said about the Quran: ❝The verses of Anthropomorphism are numerous❞ [al-Maṭālib al-ʿĀliyah 9/116] and about the Sunnah: ❝Indeed, the reports of Anthropomorphism have reached a great number, and they have reached a significant level in reinforcing the idea of Anthropomorphism❞ [al-Maṭālib al-ʿĀliyah 9/213] May Allah ﷻ protect the Muslims from this corrupt creed.

I’m not in fact a Jahmi, but we all know who the tweet is actually referring to, so to anyone sincerely looking for clarification: 1. Air in fact does have an image, denying this is similar to denying the existence of anything one cannot see. 2. Nothingness is not a ‘thing’, such that you can remove spatial properties from ‘it’ — whereas Allah is of true existence, so spatial properties, which only befit physical and limited entities, can be rejected for Him, without denial of His perfect existence. 3. Performing actions is done in other than Allah, such as His creating the universe and all its particulars. However, He does not perform actions in Himself. And this is simply because if He caused an action within Himself, a temporal property would exist within Him, which intrinsically would necessitate Him a created being, thus creating a contradiction with His unique oneness and eternality. So, here lies no problem. 4. Speech is internal, and only becomes external due to deficiency in the listener. Your inability to hear Allah’s Speech does not nexessitate He does not have the quality of Speech. Thus, for your own sake, so that your incapable and dependent self can understand His speech, He created what indicates to His Speech, and revealed it to us. Yes, the expressions are created. The expressed is uncreated. The indicator is created. The indicated is uncreated. So does Allah speak? Yes. In the way that anthropomorphist believe? No. The problem is when someone untrained attempts to delve into higher sciences, he/she concludes rationally absurd ideas, and in doing so, throws many Muslims under the bus by labeling them as other names that aren’t appropriate, such as ‘jahmi’ for an Ash’ari or Maturidi scholar. It is best to stay silent if one is not aware, and stay away from these confusing matters if one is not dedicated to this field of study. To all average Muslims, continue your prayers to the only Creator of the universe, and don’t be set back or held back by individuals or confusing posts like these. May Allah aid us all

A man was always seen taking his wife to the masjid. When asked why, he replied - قال الله تعالى في القرآن الكريم - يَـٰبَنِىٓ ءَادَمَ خُذُوا۟ زِينَتَكُمْ عِندَ كُلِّ مَسْجِدٍۢ… His wife’s name was Zīnat 😂

ʿAmr raised his head, his eyes brimming with tears, and then said: “Yes - may Allah have mercy on Wāṣil ibn ʿAṭāʾ. He was the head to me, and I was the tail to him. By Allah, I have never seen anyone more devoted in worship than Wāṣil! By Allah, I have never seen anyone more ascetic than Wāṣil ibn ʿAṭāʾ! By Allah, I have never seen anyone more knowledgeable than Wāṣil ibn ʿAṭāʾ! By Allah - the One besides whom there is no god - I accompanied Wāṣil ibn ʿAṭāʾ for thirty years" - or he said "twenty years" - "and I never once saw him disobey Allah.”

Another book that has just been published for the first time is Minhaj al-Salikin by Imam Shams al-Din al-Manbiji al-Hanbali. The book is about Zuhd & Tazkiyyah, and includes rare quotes from the author’s teachers like Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn al-Qayyim, Ibn Qadi al-Jabal, and others.
