Thank you to everyone in the NUIC and around the state who has reached out about the tornado which hit the town of Lena and our school district yesterday at 3:45pm. While today's boys track & field meet at Le-Win was supposed to be a one-of-a-kind showcase to celebrate our town and new stadium, yesterday's violent tornado was a sobering reminder that nothing is more important than family and community. We are blessed to represent the village of Lena and the @LeWinPanthers. This town, and this team, will all be back flying together soon again!

It's that time of year. Tomorrow I have my annual MRI on my acoustic neuroma. The tumor has grown slightly since initial discovery in fall of 2021, approx. 1 millimeter per year. Pray for no growth or a minor miracle of it shrinking. Thanks for always stepping up to support me.
On May 12, we did a 3x200m workout that "predicted" a 4x400m Relay time of 3:24.8.
On May 22, they ran 3:23.97 to qualify for State.
Comparison of predicted split to actual split:
Knight 52.3 ➡️51.8
Thomas 51.8 ➡️51.6
Bernstein 50.2 ➡️51.25

Friday we have a 4-hour bus trip the Belleville West Invite. Several of our best athletes will be wearing Fireflys (increases blood flow).
