Last night I was in Procreate, inking a traditional pencil drawing. Even though I only used my phone to photograph it, the texture of the paper showed through. It added alot of charm the drawing! So in this purely digital piece, I tried adding some paper texture artificially and I think it came out really well.

I have selected 69 slides covering the entire process that I can't wait to share later in the week. I think it's time for more people to see just how involved, just how chaotic, just how FUN the process of illustrating can be.

Here's my latest illustration! It's called: "What The Meek See" I used Ai for a small portion of designing the hair, amongst other tools. With my pencil, I made 115,000 over 111+ hours start to finish. I believe as artists, our artistic vision and decision making reigns supreme - and shouldn't be overshadowed by which tools we use.

"Heisei-era Internet Anxiety" is maybe the best genre of film that exists.

@MKBHD I think it may be like Kaneda's iconic bike slide from Akira. Its dope scene, and its an amazing trailblazing film worthy of paying homage to, so why not copy it?
