Jefferson said he wanted to end slavery but owned over 70 slaves and raped one of his slaves and didn't even free the children she had from him.

I don't think you understand economics. What we pay isn't just the income tax... it's all the taxes - The total amount spent is the taxes we pay both hidden and in the open. The Irs only captures part of those taxes, the rest come in the form of inflation and national debt BUT they're taxes we pay, even though you don't see it, they're there. All corporate taxes are passed onto us in the form of higher prices including property taxes, their corp income taxes, employee wages and taxes and the amount spent by the government.
